FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK FOR
THE RING/ THE RING TWO BY ACADEMY AWARD®-WINNING COMPOSER HANS ZIMMER,
HENNING LOHNER AND MARTIN TILLMAN

THE RING TWO SCORE ALSO INCLUDES ZIMMER’S NEVER BEFORE RELEASED SOUNDTRACK FROM THE RING

**OUT ON DECCA MARCH 15, 2005**

(February 28, 2005- New York, NY) -- DreamWorks Pictures presents The Ring Two, the sequel to the 2002 horror hit The Ring. This marks the American directorial debut for Hideo Nakata who directed the original Japanese blockbuster Ringu from which The Ring was based. Music for the soundtrack was composed and conducted by Academy Award®-winner Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Last Samurai), Henning Lohner and Martin Tillman. Since Zimmer’s score for The Ring was never released to the public, it seemed fitting to include it with music from The Ring Two on one album which comes out March 15th on Decca.
German born Zimmer has been nominated and won several awards making him one of Hollywood’s most sought after composers. In 1988 he earned an Oscar® nomination for Rain Man and was nominated for a Grammy® in 1989 for Driving Miss Daisy. He garnered his first Academy Award® in 1994 for The Lion King and in 1995 Zimmer earned a Grammy® for his work on Crimson Tide, which was honored as Best Original Score Written for a Motion Picture. His score for Gladiator won him a Golden Globe® for Best Original Score in 2000 and the Broadcast Film Critic's Best Original Score award in 2001. More recently he has composed scores for numerous films including: The Last Samurai, King Arthur and Spanglish- for which he received another Golden Globe® nomination.

Together Zimmer, Lohner and Tillman have created some of the most powerful and bone-chilling film music of recent years. Delving deeper into the supernatural more than the usual horror film soundtrack, this score executes the terror build-up precisely with the use of piano, violin, synthesizer and dueling cellos played by Martin Tillman and Anthony Pleeth. This urban legend comes to life exposing raw emotion by brewing up a sense of mystery, horror and helplessness for the moviegoer.

Academy Award® nominee Naomi Watts (21 Grams) reprises the role of investigative reporter Rachel Keller in The Ring Two. The story picks up six months after the horrifying events that terrorized Keller and her son Aidan (David Dorfman – The Ring) in Seattle. To escape her haunting memories, Rachel takes Aidan and moves to the small coastal community of Astoria, Oregon, to start fresh. However, Rachel's resolve quickly turns to dread when evidence at a local crime scene-including an unmarked videotape-seems eerily familiar. Rachel realizes that the vengeful Samara is back and more determined than ever to continue her relentless cycle of terror and death.

Joining Naomi Watts and David Dorfman in the cast are Simon Baker (TV's The Guardian), Elizabeth Perkins (Speak), Gary Cole (TV’s West Wing) and Academy Award®-winner Sissy Spacek (Coal Miner's Daughter, Carrie). The Ring Two opens in theaters nationwide on March 18th.

fourbe, no doubt yours is one of the best of the whole season!...

but MY total-complete-forever favorite is the bridge scene:
-the innocent: Nick runs to Lulu, tells her he is there if she wants to talk, she chuckles and says how their conversations always end on "you should divorce Brian", and then, with the cutest smile and hottest voice (drooling and fainting here, just remembering), he says: "who?" THUD.

Trish, I love this game! :-*

;D yes,yes,yes!

with this hot summer that it´s melting my brain and turning me into a warm, huge ameba, I cant think of anything better.

I´m sorry to say "heart" is not one of my favorite episodes.
But I was telling total how this scene popped up in my mind:
-The beginning: Lulu asks Nick to come to the meeting room, and tells him they called off the wedding. He has this glint of hope (and he timidly says"that´s good" when he obviously feels like running around like Macaulay Caulkin in home alone due to the fact that she might have realized HE is the right one, not tall, dull guy), until she finishes her sentence and drops "elope" and "atlantic city"... :P....

Ugh!

Hi, I just love the guardian and out here in Australia the tv network who screens it just loves taking in off air mid-season. They put it back on our screens about 6 weeks ago (the beginning of the last season). It had been off air for about 12 months so when it started again it was hard to pick up the story line again. However, I was just back into the swing of it and they took it off after 6 eposides. There are only about 8 episodes left of the entire series and who knows when we will get to see it. I really can't believe the show has been cancelled. It was one of the better shows amidst a lot of rubbish. Naturally I adore Simon after all he's an Aussie and there has been talk of him coming home to Sydney but whether he does or not is another thing although I am sure he would be able to pick up more acting work in the US than here. Anyway, Happy New Year to you all.

mb20,
Let's get rid of these ciggie commercials. This sight has gone dry for too long. It has been 2 years since all the fighting over differences of opinions. It only started two new sights where almost everyone posts indiscriminately.

I started threads for favorite scenes from each of the three years. Kinda of going down memory lane. Everyone has favorite episodes but there are many memorable scenes too.
Everyone is missing The Guardian so much why not bring alive some great moments.
Promote some chatting.

So, now season three. Favorite scene: In "Legacy" my favorite scene was when Burton confronted Nick after seeing him kissing Suzanne Pell in a restaurant. Nick said it was not what he wanted, he had asked Lulu to marry him. Burton called Nick selfish, wants what he wants when he wants it. Said he was childish, needed to start taking control of his life, stop drinking, drugs, women. Take responsibility and be a man. "Stop lieing to the people who love you."

Hi. Let's do the same with second season.

My favorite scene is in "Weight," during the car ride to Barbara's wedding. Lulu tells Nick she usually leaves things up to fate but this time she took charge and got them a place to go...after the wedding. The look on Nick's face was priceless, like a little school boy's smile when he wins a piece of candy after playing "Doggy, doggy where's your bone?" (mischieviously peeking in order to win). Mischief was certainly on his mind especially when he responds with: "...did you get a late check out?" Oh, that look!!!

There are so many great ones. Let's hear from you.

Hi everyone.
I'm tired of the ciggie ads. Thought I'd find something to discuss. I miss everyone's take on each episode. It was neat to read how we all had different interpretations of the same scene. Sooo....
What was your favorite scene in season 1? We always hear "What was your favorite episode?" I think most answers were "Heart." In "Heart" my favorite scene (besides when Lesley is talking to Nick about life's richness) is when Sarah Smalley slammed dunked Burton in his office. She nailed him solidly and chose the best adjective: self absorbed!! Then, Nick, hearing the steam sizzle and watching Sarah mimic his well practiced exist, says: "Is that your girlfriend?" Burton responds embarassingly: "Was."

Describe your favorite scene and the episode we can find it in.
Hope this starts some correspondence.

We know that heart disease is the leading killer of Americans today; with heart attack is its most visible sign.
Read this carefully:
Healthy lifestyles play a big part in reducing your risk of heart disease, heart attack and stroke. Better lifestyle habits can help you to reduce your risk for heart attack. You have to learn what you can do to help prevent heart disease and stroke. If you have more than one risk factor for heart disease or stroke, you could and should make lifestyle choices that can reduce your risk.
Smoking
Cigarette smoking is the most preventable cause of premature death in the United States . That’s important! Want evidence of the dangers of smoking? Consider these statistics: A smoker’s risk of heart attack is more than twice that of nonsmokers. Cigarette smoking is the biggest risk factor for sudden cardiac death -- smokers are looking at two to four times the risk of nonsmokers. Studies have shown that cigarette smoking is also an important risk factor for stroke. The evidence also indicates that chronic exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (secondhand smoke, passive smoking) may increase the risk of heart disease.
In 1 week in habit of smoking and poisoning release!
“ 7 day NOSMOQ program was incredible!!! I have tried every other was possible to quit smoking……only 7 day NOSMOQ program has worked!!!
