To mb20,
I would like to have this thread eliminated from the board. Its intent was misconstrued, and has caused an unfavorable outcome. This board has a higher integrity and would like to see it continue in that format.
Thank you for such good service, mb20. I enjoyed viewing some good dialog. I like to see different takes on the same character, their interactions, the storyline and possible scenerios. Thanks to all!
Trisha

To mb20, I would like to have this thread eliminated from the board. Its intent was misconstrued, and has caused an unfavorable outcome. Trisha Don't you think it's a little late for that, Trisha - the damage has been done, besides everyone has already either read or responded to it. Moreover, in fact,......go to "The Guardian" board and look up: "She's going to live". I think mature people should be able to handle situations like this, but should also know when it's time to move on!!:uhoh:

To mb20,
I agree with bakergirl. Everyone needs to move on. That is why I believe that if the thread is removed then no one else will respond. I believe, bakergirl, you said it best with the word: "maturity."

trisha, I don't think this thread is the problem. It contains some friendly and civil discussions on a (potentially controversial) issue that people obviously felt the need to discuss, and as bakergirl said, a group of mature & intelligent ppl should have no problems discussing it without resorting to WW3. So I'll leave the thread open, for now. We dont have to completely avoid disagreements, just handle 'em well.

So lets get back to discussing LuLu! (eek I sounded so enthusiastic there didn't I? ) Okay in the episode I saw last week in Australia which was called the Dead, I thought LuLu rocked! But then again I will admit I didn't like LuLu last year in the season finale because she crushed poor Nick's heart, but so far LuLu hasn't driven me stark raving mad yet

Hales, you are going to love the 2 part episodes that we just saw. (The Weight and Intersection). In the Weight, LuLu acknowledged her feelings for Nick and listened to Barbara's advice. She asked him to be her date for Barbara's wedding and booked a room at a Bed and Breakfast so she and Nick can be together. Then the accident happened and it put her in a coma. In Intersection, LuLu still unconscious, Nick talked to her, kissed her hand and then left. My guess is LuLu heard him, and that gave her the courage to wake up. ;)They are soooo adorable together.

Jennifer I'm partly dreading the 'Intersection' episode due the angst, sounds like too much angst... and I don't think I can handle it But I'm glad that Lulu finally admits to her feelings for Nick! ;D

Hi. Love this thread!....as I said many times I´ve always benn for nickandlulutogether (with bad moments, I love angst nick....) and even when I read those SBOL and found them sort of offensive for the actress...as Iconic or someone else said (sorry, is really early here) it´s better for an actor to be hated than to be ignored. AS for DH it always seemed to me he didn´t know what a real woman would say in many situations (my other favorite show is sex and the city...and the lines are perfect there!)...but the plots are usually good, and the actresses have managed to survive. This show is about nick fallin....he is in the center and interacts with many people .(Im gonna cut here. My machine is doing something wrong.)

I was in tg since the pilot, and liked lulu since she showed up (on my left, iconic´s words...) and the chemistry with nick. I thought it was right for her to marry brian; I never believed nick was in love so early: he was infatuated, and he is a brat, and didn´t like to lose....so he wanted the girl he wanted...If she would´ve dropped brian because nick took her some flowers and lost some sleep, we would´ve said she was naive for a girl in her thirties.....After jail, he starts dating (yes, he aks Kim out, so they were dating...) one of her friends; why would she believe he was in love with her?....you send messagges with your body, not only your words....besides nick´s words were few. I´m gonna make this short, I could spend the day here: I´ve always seen chemistry between them, I enjoy the way nick looks at her, the way he says "lulu" drives me crazy, the way they interact in every single scene they have...I have to say I never saw Kim...but saw those four last episodes (besides the living and the innocent) and I got kept in front of my tv watching two people teasing each other, talking, sharing a drink at the bar, laughing, screaming and jumping into sex...It was real for me and want it to keep going. I said it before: my favorite nicks have always been around lulu, so I gave her the credit. I want her to stay...I don´t understand the moving to california...but the spoilers always fool me.

Ok first of all I am new to this board. Second I am a heterosexual male who loves WM's looks. (since I don't know her personally, yet) I also like LL, the 'character' that she plays on TG.
I am not sure what all the fuss is about and why there are so many haters of my precious LL.
The chemistry between LL and Nick is not picture perfect and I feel like that is an issue for some people. I for one like the fact that it is racy, edgy and sometimes unpredictable. This happens in real life "wake up citizens." The fact that the mostly had wild monkey sex in places other than the bedroom adds (IMO) to the mystique of their relationship. Remember these are two people that have had the hots for each other for a very long time and are just now acting on their feelings.
I said 'feeling's' not desires. Now that some of their lustful desires have been quenched its now time to learn about each other. Duh! This happens in most every relationship. Unfortunately once the vanity of the newness wears off people realize they are with someone that they don't even know or like. I don't see this happening with LL and Nick as long as they are willing to grow.
Now leave my babies momma alone. grrrrrrr.

FOR THE LOVE OF LULU
After posting a million times the same idea at SBOL, I started to feel an alien . But not because I like Lulu: because I understand her (not all the times, but mostly). It might be related to my spanish ancestors (and Lulu is R.Moreno´s daughter....:biglaugh:...sorry...couldnt help it!), but almost every women I know (including me, of course) have acted or act like she does, almost all the time. We are clueless regarding the men we love; we make mistakes constantly, trying to do the right thing; we get and send wrong and double messages; we make jokes when we shouldnt and we cry when seems to be no reason for; we think we want something and we find out we didnt....and there´s a long list of items. I find Lulu human. And I know a lot of guys like Nick, too (no, they dont look like him.....I wouldnt be writing...I´d be howling below their windows....)...and there are times when one of those women meet one of those guys and things work out...and others when timing, touchiness, or just circumstances attempt against their love. I root for Nick and Lulu together maybe because every time a friend tells me she met someone and has hope this time could be "the time" I wish she is right and they could be happily ever after...even if they need some therapy in order to understand each other or survive... I find this "love affair" real.... And I dont understand why she was so cold at the stairs, or why she didnt know what to say...I dont have all the answers...but I hope DH does. I said many times I like Lulu because Nick likes her; but I also like her because she reminds me many other people....(she is a true "woman in the edge of a nervous breakdown", overreacting to almost every little thing..but there´s something charming about us, latin girls... imo!...in fact, we are a whole bunch of "almodovar girl´s" ,as the song goes...). That´s why my eyes see what they see. Besides those personal reasons, I think that, if it took seven years( at least) having Nick saying "I love you"...:thud:....to someone...it´d be easier to straighten her than find a new love interest for him...unless DH wants Nick to go through third season full of angst, with his heart aching....and then Lulu would go to california for good and Nick wont fall in love again (not in the air...). I hope not. I´m obviously for romance everywhere!.....:angel2:

Almost right, Cecilia. I think the phrase you were after is 'spanish ancestry'.
