Hey, I'm now an F&A Partner. I hope that's an executive position. ;D LaraB If I ever run for office, I want you on my team. You've got me all fired up for Lulu going back to the way she started. This is just one more ep I didn't see yet. Jezebel, I'll e-mail you on the character names site.

I am a Lulu fan and I have been since day one. I think that maybe the writers are trying to show how being with Brian has changed her, and once she rids herself of that painfully annoying Cad, she will be back to normal. The Lulu that was witty and stronger, who didn't like taking orders and wanted her opinion to be heard. She needs to come back. Nick will need her.

I agree with you 100% Juliana106 that Nick will need Lulu or someone to get him through his present difficulty. (I hope it is Lulu). I seem to have missed some crucial episodes and just when I think I'm going to catch up they show a Yankee game on channel 2. This is so bad. I may have to get on the tape fairy list.

I mentioned somewhere else that I think the earlier Lulubelle was good for NF. However, your idea that the cad is dragging her down is something I didn't think of -- good point.
Plus she is confused by the onslaught of the hormone party she feels whenever NF is around.

The hormones were heavy in the air when Nick put Lulu's hair behind her ear. She had to retreat behind her desk for safety. Great scene.

You're right. It was [glow=red,2,300]very tender[/glow]. He didn't have to think about it at all -- it was automatic. And telling, because NF doesn't strike me as someone who will touch people very easily...

What wonderful comments about the Lulu/Nick connection. I'm so easily swayed, a sucker for a tender moment like the touching her hair scene. Heck he could mess a just done hairdo on me and I'd melt. Isn't this corner office lovely Jezebel? We can see the waves from up here and there goes Simon/Nick now catching a pipe line. Hope he doesn't bruise that gorgeous face and body. Doesn't his contract have something about that in it?

OK here's another thought I had. Another WONDERFUL TG fan just sent me Shelter (woo hoo--thanks again Lynn!) and after I watched THE KISS over and over and over, and decided to take a break, it occured to me that maybe Brian pushed Lulu into the elopement. After Lulu told him she had "slipped," I'm sure he had no trouble figuring out with whom. To keep from losing his trophy wife, or the idea of whatever Lulu was to him, and perhaps more importantly to keep from losing her to NICK, maybe Brian gave her some spiel about how he loves her and they don't need a big wedding and blah blah blah, because I just don't see how she could be arguing with him one minute and eloping the next. Brian may love Lulu, but we all know he's not IN LOVE with her.

I could see Brian pushing her into it. He probably said something about all the pressure with the big wedding and she was feeling guilty and confused. I just rewatched Lawyers Guns and Money and renoticed how quickly Brian lies. If anyone has the tape check out the scene where Lulu catches Nick and Brian at the Incline and Brian lies ever so quickly to cover what he's doing in town so early. Still not a Lulu fan but I could see her being pushed into the quickie wedding, especially with sneaky Brian. Boy I hope we get to see her regretting it next season.

Me too... nasty Brian... evil Lulu... or should that be the other way around?
If they do break up though... I still don't think Nick should run to her straight away, as first it would look ridiculous and secondly because its so cliched.
Now if only Nick had someone like this Suzanne character..... *thoughtfully*

You ladies have obviously watched these episodes more than I have (not having taped most of them) but who is Suzanne? Is she a possible alternate love interest for beleagered Nick?
And yes, Babe, this office will do, especially now that we have the telescope set up to watch the "waves"!

Suzanne is the "new" PO in the Amazing Adventures of Nick Fallen. Just a character I thought of to spice the story. A female PO would be fun

Quick 'howdy" to Babe & Jezebel and to all. Sorry Babe, I can't see beyond anyone but Lulu as Simon's love interest. At this point I doubt even the writers know for sure.
