Fancy you asking about kiddies and pets, Rohina! ;D Actually, I have no children as yet, but would like some eventually. Nor do I have any siblings, so there is no chance of nieces and nephews, either . So to make up for it, I “adopt” the children of my friends and cousins as my nieces and nephews (and I have quite a few cousins!). As for pets . . . I have a dog-- a gorgeous, huge white Great Pyrenees named Nan. She’s about 4 years old (or is it 5? I’ve lost count!). I live on my family’s farm and we got her as a guard dog for my dad’s flock of sheep, but she makes it her business to guard the sheep, the house, my cousin’s house next door, basically the surrounding 75 acres (not all of which is ours, but which she considers her personal property). :dumb: Anyway, she’s absolutely spoiled—she lays down outside the dining room door every time we sit down for a meal, just hoping that we might accidentally have something for her. And if my dad tries to drive his truck anywhere but to work (how does she know where he’s going?), she’ll try to follow him. However, when he leaves for work in the morning, she stretches out by the side of the house and goes to sleep  (she “works” all night, barking at deer and coyotes and such, so she sleeps most of the day ). And finally, one more Nan story before I sign off for the night (I have a dreadful lecture at 10:30 tomorrow, Saturday, morning). When she was about a year old, whenever I would sit down at the computer in our home office, Nan would climb up on this bench that sits under the office window outside, put her front paws on the window sill, and stare down at me while I tried to work! :nerd: I hope you had a good birthday—talk to you later!!

One last thing . . . ;D How do you post a picture? I tried to include a picture of Nan, but I couldn't paste it in. Also, earlier when I tried to put in a picture of Simon, I was able to paste the link but not the picture. How do you do it?

Yeah .. I had an OK birthday LOL ... you can't exactly paste a picture into a post  .. or am I taking "paste" too literally ? Hehe  First of all, the image has to be somewhere online .. so you can type in the URL ... and most free hosting sites don't work .. I mean the picture won't show up when you try to post it So, anyways .. if you do have it on a site, that'll let the picture show up when post it (boomspeed.com is the only free hosting that works .. that I know of) .. click the picture button above the text box where you write the message .. and it'll give you the img thing, and type your URL between the tags. The button looks like a picture .. so you'll know it when you see it, hehe. It's next to the button that looks like an envelope with arrows. If you want to sign up for a boomspeed account, tis fast and easy, the uploads too ... or if you don't, just email me the pic Hmm .. anyways, Nan sounds so cute    I can't wait to see her. I'm something of a dog freak too :nyah: .. so, yeah. I posted some pictures of Shane on the first page (??) of this thread. Now we just need to see 'ol Terri and Barney *urges Hales to invest in a scanner or digital camera* I could live with a house full of puppies, but I got blessed with parents that just aren't dog people .. or pet people. I think having to deal with Shane is their limit, hehe. Yeah, Shane is SPOILT as hell .. but I'm the proudest puppy owner on earth. He's my whole life :clapping:

Sorry about the name mistake Rohini! :embarrassed: I understand how aggravating it is to have people misspell your name. Most people thing Gin is short for Jennifer when they hear it, but it’s actually short for Virginia. Anyway, I’m e-mailing you some pictures of Nan and of the lambs (they’re always adorable ). As for spoilt pets, do you actually cut his food up for him? We often give Nan people food :embarrassed: (I know you’re not supposed to, but she loves it, and we do, but not too much!), and my mum will cut it up into smaller pieces for her. The ironic part of all this being she’s an 85 pound dog who looks like she could swallow small children whole, but Mum has to spoil her! ;D By the way, I can’t remember from the earlier posts, what species are Terri and Barney? And Hales has been awfully quiet today! :eye: Perhaps she is  in private, not wanting to flood the board? And neither of you have said anything about the latest reviews on Simonsphere!

Hales .. ? :eye: Â Â Ok, ok ... I'll take off the 5  drooling limit on posts ... really, I will  ... you can  and  and we'll mop it all up ... I promise

Umm ... I didn't get any pictures   I got the email, but no pictures in the email, or attached, or anything .. and my mum will cut it up into smaller pieces for her. The ironic part of all this being she's an 85 pound  dog who looks like she could swallow small children whole, but Mum has to spoil her!   .... LOL    Cutting up his food .. yeah .. all the time, hehe, cos half of his entire diet his human food  ... I know I'm a horribly puppy owner .. and I  know he's going to die early if I carry on this with  .. cos he ends up eating junk food and all .. but I can't help it ... cos he loves eating (but amazingly he isn't overweight yet ..) ...  he doesn't like his normal dog chunks (sometimes he doesn't eat for a whole day if you give him just dog chunks  : ... so I have to keep him happy ... y'know :nyah: He also thinks that whatever food I have is for him to share  ... so I can rarely eat a meal in peace .. but I suppose that's my fault  ;D  So .. yeah, I know he sounds like a brat, but he's my little brat  LOL ... yeah I read all The Guardian Reviews at SimonSphere ...  ;D ;D ;D ... iconic soup is too funny  This is my favourite bit : Is sweet with Lisa. (Tip: He should brush up on his knowledge of all things Barbie if he wants to engage little girls in meaningful conversation.)
.. hehehe.  8) P.S Terri is a doggie and Barney is a budgie  .. I don't know what types though

*jumps into the conversation* Sorry was away this weekend, um, the dog Terri is a West Highland White Terrier she's like 14 years old and is feeling those years... plus she says 'hi' Barney is definitely a budgie and he's a blue one... he's like under the age of ten and is adorable... Anything else you'd like to know just ask and I'm happy to tell you... um, if I know the answers. I didn't have time to  over Simon/Nick this weekend, and I'm more than a little unhappy about missing a week... because I'm heading over to America sometime next month for like a whole two months... so I'm missing episodes!

Heading off to the US  8) ... on vacation ?  Maybe you'll bump into Simon or ginelit or something, hehehe  Just get your brother to tape the episodes while you're away .. that's what brothers are for

Most people I know think Terri (our dog anyway) is a boy, its funny Yep, going to the States to visit my parents who are living in Arizona, and they want me to visit ;D will be great I hope. My brother tape The Guardian... only for his benefit, if I ask him nicely though he might, if I send him emails every day to remind him to preset the VCR (video recorder). *looks doubtful* I went to a friends party this weekend and then went out on the Sunday and that was fun... Sorry but these days :drool:ing over Simon isn't going to happen this week unless I watch the previous episodes as there is no new episode this week

Gillybear--I resent the pictures using a different e-mail account. They should come across this time! Sounds like you've had fun this weekend Hales ;D! I think we get a new episode this week, but even when it is a rerun I watch it (usually twice ;D) and  all over again! According to one schedule I read, we'll be seeing the rerun of Heart week after next, so I'm sure to be  all over the place that night!

Why are your parents living in the States ?    Are you originally American and now living in Australia with your brother .. or originally Australian .. and your parents just moved to the US ?  :dumb: I got the 2nd email Gin ... but when I tried to download the pictures .. GoZilla got in the freakin way and got me a file called GetPart3 (not your fault .. it's GoZilla  ) ... and when I tried to download them again ... webmail went down, and the download cut off.  Geez, I don't even know why I use webmail ... their servers are down half the time  .. but when they're up, they're very fast *waits impatiently to see Nan* ... Nan probably doesn't want me to see her, which is why she's cursing my downloads :nyah: The Funnies has the lowest Nick-Fix Rating on SimonSphere *sniff* Â

Sounds like I should tell you my life story or something Okay I was originally from England (My whole family), we moved to Australia in 1989, my brothers and I have lived here ever since, but last year my father wanted to work in America and my mother is there for the ride so thats where they are, I don't know yet if they want to live there ... that's all I can say. 8) Gin - I had a great weekend, but I was tired by the end of it! Can you let us know how the new episode is? as I probably won't get to watch that episode, unless I miraculously watch television when I get to the States and somehow find myself watching repeat episodes of The Guardian... I'm not holding my breath though!
