Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker for quite sometime, but finally decided to join up because of this whole Lulu/Nick thing....
I haven't watched the entire season so my observations may be a tad premature in comparison other members who have been watching the show since the beginning. Having said that. Here goes my beef or rant or whatever it is...you wanna call it.
There's no question that Nick's life is in shambles...we all want desperately for a part of Nick's life to go right but the poor lad can't catch a break. I think all of us were hoping to have at least his relationship with Lulu to work out. Yes Lulu's abrupt anouncement was rude. She might as well ripped his heart from his chest and stomp on it with her 5-inch hills (though she probably doesn't own one--you never know;))
Yes Lulu is to blame but Nick isn't entirely innocent. Yes, he did the right thing of somewhat staying back and not forcing the whole issue between him and Lulu in the midst of the whole wedding brouhaha. But at the same time I think its thhis very patience with her that's given Lulu little incentive to drop the Cad Brian for him. Yes, Nick gives her puppy dog looks, kisses her passionately, sweeps a strand of hair away from her face BUT until he declares how he feels out loud, until she hears him say "I love you" out loud, the likelihood of Lulu leaving Brian is slim. Now that she is in fact married, I think its gonna be harder for her to leave Brian for Nick. Personally for me, his actions and gestures although sweet is not enough, not when I'm about to get married, until he says "I love you" or "You're making the wrong decision" he'll just drive me nuts. I know actions speak louder than words, the spoken word that is, but in this case, that doesn't hold true...
so my advice to Nick:
Just tell her how you feel!!!!!!!
I think Lulu knows how Nick feels we saw it at the end of Chinese Wall the whole "After all I said to you this week you were just kind" scene at the end of the ep was pretty obvious. I think Lulu finally saw the writing on the wall, that is, Nick feelings for her are quite genuine. They're not based on anything other thant he fact that he loves and respects her for who she is and not what she can be (as in Brian loving her for the trophy wife she can become for him)
I know there are other things going on in Nick's life but I'm simply isolating this part of this life. If I Included everything else, this would be one long message--longer than it already is!!!! *LOL*
But this might be good for us. I mean it seem like Nick has a higher wall to climb for next season. There will be some major fall out from this and this is just one part of his life! I don't mean to be overly melodramatic, disecting and anlyzing Nick's life fills a huge void in my life *LOL* Seriously I have no life!!!
This is the end of my rant......
