New review for season finale

I just read a new review for the finale, thought I'd share it here. It's from Soap Opera Weekly.
"Start of the end for The Guardian-
Nick Fallon falls hard in the May 21 season finale of The Guardian. He gets crushing news from his father (Dabnew Coleman) and Lulu (a sparkling Wendy Moniz; then , in the (literally) heart-stopping cliff-hanger, his past comes back to haunt him.
  The episode is appropriately titled "The Beginning"- appropriate because Nick's future is a big question mark at the end of this shocking hour. The production values have a particular sheen that contrast sharply with the gritty material. As usual, the story jumps between Fallen & Associates and social services, which keeps the viewer interested and guessing- if at times a little confused. (The whole James/Livi arc seems a bit superflous.)  Mandy Gressler gives a knockout performance as junkie/stripper Jamie, but Baker steals the episode at the end. We see both the actor and character at their most vulnerable."
I can hardly wait until tomorrow night!

Go Simon... I seriously hope he gets an Emmy for this show! My heart pumps up with pride even if he's nominated but an Emmy will let Australia go wild... *pictures everyone in Australia who adores Simon go wild* hmmm fun... 8)

The episode? :erm: why Nick... anyone who's mean to Nick in this episode will be in my bad books...

SB will be nominated, I'm phsycic.  If he is, I'm going to the Emmys   ;D  to see him.

You know Droops will be rooting for the bad guy!   Anything to see Nick in pain!

In a somewhat perverse way, I like seeing Nick tortured too

.... but why would you want Nick to suffer?

I mean if you look at the guy's face... and it has that adorable Handsome look whether he looks unhappy :drool:, or bewildered :drool:, hurt :drool:...

how could you want him to suffer?! :bawling:

I admitted it was perverse...  Mostly I'm sad  

I think it is because then I can be more joyful when he isn't tortured. And, it shows how strong he is to keep going.  * annie sheepishy rationalizing her perversion*

A little guilt is good.  And mostly, I like the semi-torture like when he finds out that Lulu has a boyfriend, then is engaged, etc.  Not the big stuff, like your whole world collasping. On the other hand  ;D it will be joyful watching him fight his way back.  Gee, can you tell I'm conficted??

PS.  You're in Arizona?  I'm going there next week to visit the parents. Annie is an :angel:

I'm conflicted... I don't want Nick to get injured but I'd rather him be injured than in jail... plus I love the angst!

Yep in Arizona to visit the parents myself... I've been here for just over a month and I'm here for another month before I head back to Australia... where I'll see some more episodes of The Guardian... hee! :biggrin:
