Hey Everybody! Checked out the video clip yet of Lulu and Nick? It's Lulu trying her level best to downplay the kiss on what is the day after Nick undoubtedly made her toes curl. She is harried, shaken, nervous and scared to death. It is clear. She makes a remark about being "curious" about Nick and tries to explain away the kiss by saying she was nervous about the wedding. Lulu also equates the kiss to a bachelorette party (one last fling), then apologizes to Nick for remark. All the while, Nick is quiet, knowing w/ what appears like a sly smile that says "Yeah, right." Then Lulu brushes past him as if she just *had* to get away from him - or else. She's so gone... but I've been that way since the premiere of this show..... see the clip at: www.sonypictures.com/tv/shows/guardian/index_ie.htmlthirty

Well, I've watched the clip about a half dozen times... I think Lulu's lying to herself. I mean, what she said to Nick last ep was a gut reaction and therefore I think pretty truthful. Now that she's had time to think, she's pushing aside her fears and nervousness and trying to brush off what happened as just "curiosity," as she said. It will be interesting to watch it play out.

Just call Lulu Cleopatra--the queen of denial. Major denial--and Nick's not buying it for one minute.

Yup, cool clip ..
I don't particularly hate Lulu for what she said to Nick in the clip, I mean, she just did what was natural .. it's what I would've expected.

That clip, ugh, that was attrocious. My defense for Lulu was that at least she took responsibility for her actions. But, and even all the die-hard Nick fans must admit, he didn't seem overwhelmingly concerned with her statement about marrying the Cad and living in the house with him. He knows Lulu is far too chicken to make something permanent with Brian, and Brian's too much of a loser (albeit a rich doctor).
Maybe during the episode, Grandma will have some wisdom for her beloved Louisa and tell her the obvious, ditch the Cad and go for the gorgeous. ;D

I was watching 'The Kumars at No 42' the other night and the granny was given a hug by one of the guests. "Oh", says she "I just felt blood rush to places that have been dead for years". Your remarks about Lulu's granny just reminded me of it. Imagine Lulu's reaction to a statement like that! ;D Actually if Granny is being mis-treated, chances are that she is a bit, or a lot, senile.

Nice to see you back hales  we should be getting Solidarity tonight, hope they don't switch it here In OZ like they did for Gillybear. So if no-one else gives you a run-down on it, I will. Last week was In Loco Parentis, but i think Gin has done a run down somewhere on this board.

Ahhhrrrrr!!! I will have to tape the Guardian and watch it later in the evening (if I last that long ) because dear Hubby wants to watch Beech is Back . <br> And our video is of such poor quality that everyone ends up looking orange. Nick looks kind of strange with orange skin.

I sure am, with bated breath, I have just sent a message to Gin to see if she will give us one, as she appears to be on-line. Why don't you tape Beech is back instead of the Guardian, I've heard it is lousy by the way, so you probably won't even like it. No-one, but no-one stops me watching TG on Wed nights. Nothing seems to be happening on the Yahoo boards yet either.

I would tape Beech, but unfortunately our video doesn't tune to the ABC. We should just fork out $200 for a new one - manana.
I'm going for a little kip for an hour - hopefully Gin will have posted by then. The suspense!
