Yeah, Burton didn't even have to think about it either ...
Well, it wasn't really a bonding speech .. the one in court, where he was talking about the father-son bond .. and it's even worse growing up without a mother and a father ... poor boy

That was what made me think of Nick and his father.... its a pity Burton didn't hear the speech. Also when Hunter asked Nick if he got along with Burton, Nick froze a little and got uncomfortable... and that was probably why he had that really cool speech! Or maybe Burton just ignored 'handsome' and went with the 'son' bit instead - heh!

Hey, it worked! iconic soup is on the air.
I have a question about the lip-locking scene in Home. Just as Ms Barstow says the line "You're going to be a partner at my firm" and climbs on top of Nick, I can hear what sounds like the chink of him undoing his belt (on the word "partner"). Then when the camera pans down to Nick, his hands are down in that vicinity, before he lifts them up in that lovely crucifix.
Can you guys hear this chink? (I'm assuming you have well-worn video tapes of the episode.) We never actually see if his belt is undone but I thought it was a nice touch...

Hmmm ... no, I didn't catch that chink. I was too busy oggling at the screen  I'll have to listen up for it.
