nyway, and plays it real cool when she visits Nick in jail - ignoring the fact that he's in deep despair, and very painfully ask her why she married Brian because he thought he had made it clear he would wanted to be with her. All she did was look him straight into the eyes and said:......I know!!! That was so cold..... The way I saw this scene, LuLu was very shy and probably hesitated before going to see Nick in jail. That's why she brought a pretext (a case) to look fresh and cool, And when she said that she knew about Nick's feelings, she told him in such a soft voice that it was clear she understood how he felt. Anyway, about the episodes to come, I try to be patient and not rely to much on the spoilers. Just one more word about this board specially : these discussions remind me of my school's hot and passionate sessions about books and movies! And I love it.

[glow=red,2,300]What we know about Lulu:[[/glow] 1) she's had a screwed up childhood too, complete with abandonment issues same as Nick. 2)Perhaps because of which, she had a "plan for her life," which is what she married instead of a man she loved. 3)She's, "been with Brian forever." 4)she's "the straightest person Kim knows." 5)Nick "confuses" her. 6)She judges people. 7)She's more than a bit naive. 8)She adhere's to a certain set of moral standards (ethics, integrity, etc.). 9)She hasn't been/nor does she seem to be secure enough to even ask a guy out first (asking Nick on a "date") 10)She's always left it up to the guy, which apparently would be only Brian most likely...poor thing. (Nick in car during The Weight "you leave it up to someone else") 11)Oh yeah, she can be as much of a brat as Nick. In short, Lulu can be wack. ;D Which is why I find her, (and Nick and she together), so entertaining. Nick will have to be very explicit with her. :firedevil: Heh-heh. Because contrary to what she said in BITR, she does indeed need "training wheels." <--- telling comment. Problems will arise soon most likely, because that's the one thing Nick is unable to easily be, "explicit," that is, about his feelings. Not that Lulu is an everflowing font of hearts and flowers - she's not. Her insecurities prevent her from being this way as well, she needs a trade-off of sorts. The ol' "you show me yours, and I'll show you mine," kind of a deal. If we're to believe that she's only been with Brian, only had one man (relationship) in her life -- she's in need of intensive tutelage -- the scary part is, Nick is almost like the worst possible teacher (sex aside). Because this is a woman who because of her own "issues," is going to need the whole ball of wax. What will most likely happen, is that Lulu being fairly sharp, is able to see that Nick won't easily be able to do this, i.e., lay everything out there on the table emotionally. So her suggestion that they make like they're serious for LSP propriety's sake, I see as her covering her ass in more ways than one. Here are a few ways: 1)Perhaps she feels she needs to let Nick know that she 'can hang,' as it were with the sex w/o promises and committment -- Saint Louisa can party too, while at the same time 2) her suggestion has him wondering and worrying about what she feels for him leading Nick to actually question her about her intentions ;D 3) This could be Lulu's way of catching her Nick. 4/22 <--- Can't wait! Can't wait! :bouncing::bouncing::bouncing:

some thoughts: Nick in therapy... well certainly i`d love to see how nick send the therapist to shut the hell up .... or his clasic: I don`t need anyone..... ;D LuLu is being offered a job in california, well the situation between her and Nick is not serious aparently but she is OK. with this at least ... for the next two episodes(she said to Nick in burton and ernie, PRETEND we are having a serious relationship), so it`s up to her... it wouldn`t be original that nick goes to the airport and she has already gone, so we expect something better from DH. Burton and Nick relationship will be in a sensitive point, maybe because of the hole secret and the problem with jeremy and Aut Liz(probably angry with B for calling the police) Hope nothing happens with her health during the problem with jeremy cause Nick is gonna put all the blame in his adorated father! Sometimes being a parent sucks! Burton figthing for Shannon as her real father appears, by the way i don`t think the court `ll give the girl to a stranger who has already disappeared long while ago... but well... we never know. Hope we can see Laurie, Barbara, Alvin and james in the episode, really they should be a little more involved in the show! No complains about Nick on the screen all the time, but lets change the people around him, ok? well, that`s all for now .... See you around

Maybe the possibility of LuLu going to California will be one of those things that force Nick and LuLu to examine their relationship.....you know, try to determine whether it's mostly sex or whatever.
Or maybe they could go to California together. LuLu could definitely do with some sun. And can you imagine how beautiful Nick would be with a little more sunshine?

I am too familiar with show's cliffhangers. The writers tend to make it look so bad or interesting that we will talk about it forever until the new season is here. I bet they will make us think that LuLu is taking the job to California though the spoilers say that she was offered (not necessarily taking it). I can only hope that both Nick and LuLu will realize how important they are to one another. A lot of this will depend on the remaining episodes. Then perhaps we will all tie things together. I for one don't think that LuLu is going anywhere. I want her to stay and make Nick's life even more complicated.

Whether LuLu goes or stays might well be the cliff hanger that ends this season.
For my part, as much as LuLu baffles and sometimes irritates me, I think her character should stay, as opposed to going to California.
I see LuLu causing Nick a fair amount of angst in the third season, assuming there is a third season. I bet she'll try to get him to have meaningful conversations, share his feelings, all that un-Nick kind of stuff. I'd really enjoy watching that....that would have to be the toughest of all things for Nick to do.

What I meant in my reference to Brian leaving is when he left "for good" and moved back to Columbus, not while he was away in New Mexico visiting his ill mother. Ofcourse I knew that, silly girl........... ;D But as you know DH likes to throw us a curve ball from time to time, and even though they were already sort of separated, Brian would still show up.....catching us all off guard! So,... that time he was in Mexico!! She went over there, indeed, because of the potential stalker......but finding Nick in his boxers was of course a big delight, and she didn't mind a little flirting. But he always comes back for more, after he got mended a bit, and when the tables turn it might be because he finally realizes that she's not the one! LuLu is pretty and cute, but maybe it's time for her to show her true colors and get on with it!! ;D It's also possible that after the sex urge is over, and LuLu is not able to get Nick to open up to her... emotionally... they both will have their hearts broken. ........and so Nick goes into therapy, and LuLu to California - until they are both recovered!! The next three episodes will tell all.............we hope! "Simonsphere" is running a Mini Poll.......*Public Liability* "Nick and LuLu start having sex in public places. Will this make or break their relationship?" The last time I checked: Make it........134 votes.....45% Break it.......166 votes.....55% It shows that the opinion of the romance, or future relationship between Nick and LuLu, is pretty much equally devided.

Quote: Also, in regards to "You Belong to Me" -- I don't think that LuLu's intent in going over to Kim's was to find Nick there, somehow a *safe haven* of sorts appeared to be more of a priority, and getting to see Nick later on in his boxers and t-shirt was just a bonus. Seems like they're commenting on what "public sex," might do to the relationship. Maybe what would satisfy more people is a blatant question like, "Would you like Nick to move on from Lulu?" Oh wait - did she have one like that? I think she did, and most people gave a resounding "No." Most of the time polls are for this relationship like 4 to 1, even the polls on that website as I used to recall. Course things can change, and of course polls (particularly small samples) aren't a scientific representation of the viewers who tune in. I'd lay odds, most viewers want to see how this pans out. I hope we get that chance, and I hope the show is renewed. I think it's taking a while most likely because of contract negotiations with Simon.

He did say he was ready for season 3, but didn't indicate if the show has been renewed yet. CBS will announce their 2003-2004 show line up early next month. My feeling is that TG will be renewed.

Hi- I'm new to the message board. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's comments about the show. I love the show because I live in Pittsburgh, and work in the Frick Bldg. It's so fun to watch the show and see Nick and Jake walk down the same street I do everyday, hear them talk about Shadyside and Seven Springs, to watch them come out of the courthouse I go to everyday. It's a blast. When the cast and crew were here this past Fall to film, it was great. They were given a city-wide welcome-They were supposed to come back here to film this spring, but so far they haven't shown up as far as I know. So here's my question - I don't get this court-ordered therapy thing? What's that all about? Has it got something to do with his probation? Or being caught at the public sex thing? And if its the latter, then why isn't LuLu ordered to therapy too?

I'd really enjoy watching that....that would have to be the toughest of all things for Nick to do. ... or maybe drive her to her gynecologist and wait there for her?....that would certainly kill him:biglaugh: .....then, we agree in the end: I´m for Lulu for the grins ....you are for the angst...but she is the one who helps us have the cutest nick, isn´t she.... I hate the cliffhangers. Do they really believe they need them?....there´s nothing more hatreous (?) then having to wait three months to find out something...and what if the show is never renewed (........:bawling:....) and they let us without ever knowing....something we deserve to know for being good fans or beholders, watching the show, taping, supporting other viewers... cliffhangers are unfair with the public. SB being tired of doing TG?.... three months to rest is a lot of time...showbiz is draining, but also very rewarding....I guess he was talking about the show itself....you know, linda (at yahoo!) talked about the way he asked her about this season eps...maybe he wasn´t very happy, and after directing and giving a personal touch he felt better and made up his mind of coming back... just guessing....:angel2:
