"Simonsphere" is running a Mini Poll.......*Public Liability* "Nick and LuLu start having sex in public places. Will this make or break their relationship?" The last time I checked: Make it........134 votes.....45% Break it.......166 votes.....55% It shows that the opinion of the romance, or future relationship between Nick and LuLu, is pretty much equally devided. I voted there, and did it for the break....just for the sake of being with the majority....so, I wouldn´t take the result too seriously, rosiiiii.....all this stuff is just for fun....(you know I´m a nickandlulugirl )...

So here's my question - I don't get this court-ordered therapy thing? What's that all about? Has it got something to do with his probation? Or being caught at the public sex thing? And if its the latter, then why isn't LuLu ordered to therapy too? Oh wow! Welcome frickbldglawyer! Good to see you here. Did you see the cast when they went to P'burgh? Can you tell us a little bit more? Did you see Simon, Wendy, Dabney and the rest of the cast? You maybe right. It was announced in an article by DH that they will be back there in Spring for the finale but from what I understand they are now wrapping up the last episode on Monday, so I guess there was a change of plan. As for the spoilers about the finale episode, it was a bit confusing (therapy and all), but I'm sure it will all make sense when we get detailed spoilers from tvguide or cbs.

Hope you are right, Jennifer!....since I haven´t seen almost any of season two (just the two eps that totaltotal gracefully:angel2: sent me...) all this talk about the cliffhangers and the next eps has me dizzy: and I´m crossing my fingers for next season....if ever comes here....if not, I count on you, guys, for the summaries.....and iconic´s reviews....I want Lulu to stay, Shannon to go home with her father (he might be a nice guy....), the jeremy-rappist being a misunderstood, and a little peace for the break.....

Oh I saw that, thanks. I definitely think Simon & Co. want to come back, and was not inferring differently. These things aren't mutually exclusive. What I was talking about -- contract negotiations or re-negotiations, doesn't mean a star doesn't want to return. It's just something that stars of successful shows do, when they are heading into the another season after having already put in a few years (see James Gandolfini and "The Sopranos"). After working their ass off, and making a show what it is -- the parties usually want to renegotiate a contract. They do it, because at this juncture they have leverage, and they can. Simon, DH and others, wouldn't have done it in season 1 -because TG was a brand new show. They state they're intentions to eagerly come back to what is a *successful show* (the article you posted)while at the same time, they don't rush signing on the dotted line again - if they want an increase in pay and other perks. It's leverage, and it usually works. Most of the time, things go smoothly...renogiations are made, and you don't hear about any glitches in the press. *(On the odd occasion though - stars may balk, a network may balk and they sue each other, i.e., "The Sopranos," brouhaha that recently happened - it was ultimately averted). Regarding TG, it may not only be Simon either - it could be Dabney and Simon both, and/or all the principals. Dabney for instance has done two films while he's been on TG. This is all speculation of course, but it might be a reasonable explanation as to why the network hasn't announced TG's renewal just yet. I'm sure it's only a matter of time, as all parties (the stars, network, creator, etc) seem to want to continue their run, thankfully!

Haven't been here for a while. The way CBS has been handling this wonderful show and some of the writing have me really perplexed.
I can see why Simon's tired. I'm tired of all the reruns they've given us. I think it was in March, CBS had an episode synopsis that said. "LuLu is going to ask Nick to move in with her."
I didn't see anything remotely like that, between the reruns that is. Did anyone see it?
As for that Zapit, or whatever the name is. That's where today's info came from. My MSN home page,(which mentions interesting topics to click on) had one that said, "Show finales and which ones aren't coming back.
I clicked on it with my heart in my throat.
I went down to TG and it said...
The Guardian
Finale: Tuesday, May 13 at 8 p.m. ET Nick is ordered into therapy by the court, while LuLu is offered a job in California. Plus, Sarah's father returns looking for custody of his daughter.
Well this mess is a cliffhanger in itself.
[BTW who's Sarah? Farrah Fawcett is Mary isn't she? Shannon is her daughter's name.]
Will It Return: To Be Decided
My take: Most of their shows had "To be decided" on them, even JAG (which I enjoy) and Judging Amy (which I don't watch) so that didn't tell me much.
The Simpsons, that "educational show" is returning (it's not on CBS ). "24" which runs opposite TG, is returning, too and they only got on the top 30 Neilsen ratings list once all season and in spite of all the shinanigags they've had showing TG, it's been on Neilsen consistantly.
How can CBS expect a show to succeed when they pre-empt, rerun and rerun more and don't demand better stories. I never saw a show have so many side stories in it. You need a program to keep track of them all in one episode.
This is what's up at CBS now
Tuesday, April 22, 9PM ET/PT
"What It Means to You"
Video preview!
Just as Nick and LuLu's relationship heats up, they are each assigned to work on opposite sides of a difficult case. Meanwhile, after Mary Gressler dies, Burton decides to become Shannon's foster father.
BTW the video preview didn't work. Am I lucky, or what?
I agree with atotaltotalfan2001 Simon could use some California sun and think of the surfing he could do.
Even with all my complaining, I love this show. I'm just frustrated because they aren't doing it justice.
Thanks for letting me vent. I hope I'm not banned from here now.

In case you didn't see this news posted elsewhere, the CBS.com preview is at long last WORKING!
I've watched it several times already, and will probably watch it again this evening (I know, I know. Time for me to get a life....)..
I share the frustration about how CBS is handling TG. CBS has a diamond on its hands, but I'm convinced CBS just doesn't recognize that. TG gets less promotion that just about anything on TV.
And poor Simon Baker. He can only go on so many TV talk shows to talk up TG. CBS has gotta start doing other stuff......
Let's all write them notes and demand they take better care of TG. Think I'll do that this week.....

atotaltotalfan2001, you are absolutly right, i think the cbs should take care more about this great show, it has great ratings and it`s been accepted all over the world, give to all the cast a little more recognition, don`t you think so.... I`ll write too, complaining of the little publicity... maybe if there are more requests they`ll do something about it. And it`s ok, you want to see the trailer over and over again, when i realized that it was working, i just run to my home to see it, of course after i finished my work, but i was very anxious and i couldn`t concentrate very much... so i left early..... so if you need a life so do I.

Think I'll do that this week..... If you were here you´d die!....hallmark channel has : TG, with A. rosenberg and CMWithfield (not a word on SB or DC), never a preview (and we see thousand times the previews of Mcleod´s daughters, judging amy, and any other show.....and they scheduled and cancelled the show without any kind of worry for the beholders (me, since I believe I´m the only one who watches TG in my country.....).... they don´t seem to care ANY on this show, they don´t give a :cussing: on it.....why, since it was very good ratings?.....hasn´t anybody ever asked DH (since he is the father of the creature...) what´s going on?... I´m serious about it: it´s my favorite show and I´d hate it to see it sink in the sea of "tv executive incoherency"....as has happened other times....

I don't get the smileys or your comments. :rolleyes2: Apparently you think I'm saying something different from you - or disagreeing with you in some way. I am not. The first time I posted about contracts, you snipped what I had written, and remarked about the article in which Simon said he was coming back in July. That's great -- but I was pointing out that regardless of what stars say in the press, and what they want to do - many times they're hammering out new contracts *behind the scenes* which is why networks don't rush to announce renewals. It gives them leverage. That might be the case here with TG, or....it might not be -- it's all speculation, which is what I stated before as well. This isn't a challenge okay?
