Forget the Logies. There's now a humorous alternative, which formally recognises the worst Australian television has had to offer in the past 12 months.
The second Annual TV Fugly Awards, or Fuglies as they're affectionately known, have began taking votes over the internet.
This year's Fuglies were kicked off, with the first vote cast by ABC presenter Joanne Shoebridge from the rural affairs program Landline.
Ms Shoebridge voted ex-pat Aussie Simon Baker of television show The Guardian as the Spunkiest Male TV Personality and Chris Bath from Channel 7s Sunday Sunrise as the Most Under Acknowledged TV Personality.

In 2002, Landline was recognised in one of the more positive categories when voters determined it the Most Under Acknowledged Television Show.
But not all the categories are so kind with "Least Talented TV Personality Turned Pop Star" and "Australian Celebrity Who You Would have rather seen in the Celebrity Big Brother" being added to the list this year.
