Apparently in Burton and Ernie, Alvin just can't stop himself from telling people at LSP about what he just saw when Nick and LuLu were being amorous after hours. I thought it was too funny I expect this to come from a woman; not a lawyer like Alvin. Is he embarassed that one of his full time lawyers are doing something out of character? Is he being moralistic all of a sudden? Bored? Jealous? I can't figure out Alvin's motivation here. Alvin fans, help me out here.

Greetings,
Remember the series of shows when Alvin couldn’t help himself and had to notify the authorities because HE didn’t think the way James was raising his nephew was appropriate?
Alvin should have kept his mouth shut then - and he should keep it shut now.

I think Alvin and Nick have always had a somewhat competitive relationship - they just rub each other the wrong way. I think Alvin misconstrues Nick's attitude towards him, as mildly disrespectful - he definitely thinks Nick is arrogant. I can't forget the glee and relish that Alvin in MAIT showed when he won the bet. So perhaps he wants to take him down a peg. Lulu too, for her judging him when he was caught with the prostitute. I think he probably feels, hey - everybody knew about my indiscretions around the office a couple months back - so I'm going to make it a point to tell how you two aren't exactly holier than thou either.
