Remember what Nick said to Lulu first season (not sure what ep.): Brian only wants you as a housewife, goodbye to the career. Nick can't go back on those thoughts. Lulu has a right to a career. I don't think he ever realized the career could be somewhere else besides Pittsburgh.
I'm enjoying everyone's ideas. They are all good posts.

I don't think he ever realized the career could be somewhere else besides Pittsburgh. I'm glad you brought that up. I've been wondering how much of Nick's reluctance to ask LuLu not to take the interview stemmed from his wanting her to do what is best for her career. He seems to have high regard for her as a professional. I suspect most of his silence stemmed from his inability to express his feelings. But I remember how nasty he was in the first season about Brian turning her into a housewife.... |
