Hi Guys! How is everybody holding up? September seems quite far away, doesn't it? Anyway, there has been something about an episode in Season 2 that has been mind-boggling. The stalker storyline, ie, the one where Lulu was apparently being stalked by someone. Can anyone tell me what their thoughts are on that? The episode seems incomplete. I have yet to decipher the point of it, but am hoping that we'll get more insight next season. It is quite strange that this person was never revealed or that he gave up so quickly. For a while I thought it was Alvin-you know the pen thing? Then at the end of the episode we saw Nick across the street watching Lulu. I am not suggesting that it is Nick... but I am a bit hazy about that episode.

It was a rather bizarre thing, and I've speculated on it a great deal myself. I favored Alvin for quite a while, mostly because I had pretty much eliminated Nick. Now I'm not so sure.

You aren't sure if it was Nick... or Alvin. I am benching more on the latter. The word you used 'bizarre' is a perfect one. Let's wait and see maybe someone else has a suggestion... . Thanks Gin.

Well I don't believe it will turn out to be Alvin (what would have been the point) or Nick ( he seemed to believe that it really was that guy who had been in prison all that time and when he discovered it wasn't (in the car-park) he went to LuLu's house to watch over her.
Maybe it was that teenager in "The Living", Dale, if you remember he was extremely taken by LuLu and said that she was "hot", and was interested in him.
Just a thought.

Hi, Monzy! I haven´t seen the episode, but I read the script and many posts, and talked to other fans....and it´s one of my favorite lost threads in the show... I´m a big fan of Lulu (so this might sound odd), but since I haven ´t seen her face (well, Iconic could say that that wouldnt make any difference :biglaugh:....sorry, iconic...it´s just that you are a little biaised toward WM some times... ;D).....couldnt she have been her own stalker?....:thud:...... ......it´s just a thought!

I don't think Iconic is biaised at all, she simply has an opinion, as indeed we all do!

I have in my possession a leaked script for "You Belong To Me" (I sorry but I cannot divulge my sources). In the script there is a scene that never made it to the final cut but which seems to me to give the missing clue needed to determine LuLu's stalker:
(The morning after LuLu's breakin. The cops are checking LuLu's office at LSP for clues. Conversation as they are leaving, fading into background)
Policeman 1: Anything turn up? Policeman 2: Everything seems in order. Only thing unusual seems to be that one of the letters on the computer keyboard seems to be stuck. Ms Olsen swears it wasn't broken yesterday Policeman 1: Which one? Policeman 2: One of the vowels

But they shouldn't stop. There is much to gain, even if it is only to learn from her excellent and subtle use of the english language.

I maintain my original suspicion that it's either Brian (he gave up his marriage rather quickly) or Alvin (because of the pen thing and the fact that he lost his position as a board member). I wouldn't be surprised if the stalker story is a forgotten issue though.

( that joke was a bad idea, I know...it´s just that yesterday I asked about "her "WM sour line delivery" " and I found it kind of unkind ....I dont care if iconic is biaised. I am too. I tend to be indulgent with WM acting skills. I love the way she and SB look together (I said it early: I could "worship " SB playing NF, he is perfect; but I dont think he is that good in other roles I´ve seen him...maybe they are bad roles or have bad lines?....maybe WM is having the worse lines and plots in TG, too....besides....who isnt biaised at all?..) . Even finding her "little biaised" I keep reading her site: it´s fun and smart and I like it. I still can disagree with someone´s ideas but like the way they are said....)
Back to the stalker: I don´t understand that dialogue and the stuck vowel....what´s the meaning?....

Yep. I'm not really in possession of a leaked script.

Hmm...good one Leonie, esp. since in a later episode we saw Alvin in front of LuLu's lap top -- if only the writer's had the ingenuity to keep the story going like that At any rate... my 2 cents... at this stage in the show (as I have seen the season in its entirety), I'd say there are 3 principal suspects 1. Alvin (his weirdness toward LuLu really does play out toward the end of the season with the job in Berkeley and an almost tangible animosity between them) 2. Brian (that trip to New Mexico was rather convenient, as was the lack of continuity concerning the residence of his parents) 3. Kim (maybe LuLu's interest in Nick really did bother her enough to do something about it, and give the girl a scare) I definitely don't think that the stalker ordeal was something that LuLu conjured up herself. A touch dramatic she is -- but that's going to the extreme.
