Thanks for adding that Skater! There is usually so much going on in a scene that I can't get all the dialogue down while getting the other details as well!

She was high?? How did B react to that fact? And you told us that claire told B something about the last news of the cop`s case before he leaves, something important?

Radio Station Alvin has gone over to the radio station to try to talk to the host of the talk show, but before he has a chance to talk to her she cuts him off to do a phone interview with Henry Winkler (the Fonz).

F&F, Burton’s office Burton has Shannon on the carpet (figuratively!) and is telling her that she owes him $423 dollars.
Upset, Burton tells Shannon, “If you were my daughter . . .”<br> Shannon: Yeah, well, I’m not.
Burton: That’s why I’m through with you.
He tries to call Mary at work as Shannon stands there uncomfortably. Unable to get Mary, Burton tells Shannon to stay there and he’ll take her home when he’s finished. When she asks what she’s supposed to do, he tells her to work on her homework. Shannon rather cheekily points out that she doesn’t have her books with her. Burton grimly grabs a law book off the shelf, hands it to her and tells her to read the first ten pages and write him a report. He then heads to the conference room.

F&F, Burton’s office Gretchen comes into Burton’s office with some papers. She explains that his Visa card has been frozen, ... Sure it wasn't Claire? I can't recall ever have seen Gretchen. Bummer, and I don't have time to rewind the tape and watch it again tonite. www.users.lantic.net/jnaidoo/BB/doh.gif[/img] I'd rather read Gin's version ... and where is spunkymungbeans ?? It aint' Tuesday without spunky. So now that I've learned what Spunky means (did you all vote yet?) --- what's the mungbeans significance?

The young actress who plays Shannon did a fantatic job of acting stoned. Very believable, and no, Burton was not impressed with her smoking "grass".

A small conference room Burton and Claire meet with Scott Davenport. Burton is trying to prepare Scott to testify in court. He starts asking Scott if he is religious, if he has any vices (smoking, drinking, etc.). Scott says yes, he’s religious, and no he doesn’t smoke, drink, or do drugs. Burton takes out a cigarette and lights up, asking Scott if he judges those who do. Scott says he doesn’t, and Burton continues.
Meanwhile, Claire, noting Burton’s tactic, takes the packet of cigarettes and lights one up herself. Burton, who has continued to question Scott about his attitude towards drug dealers, looks pointedly at Claire as he stubs out his cigarette.

To catch you up, jevees, yes, she was high, and Burton looked grim--he was not happy at all.
He actually told Claire that they would be meeting with Scott Davenport to prepare him for his testimony. He updated her on the status.

Hi! I ran off to have a bowl of soup. Its lunchtime here.
The mungbeans relate to a rather surreal dream I once had when I was dating my now husband. I could tell the story but I assure you just wouldn't mean much - too bizzare. Before I told him the dream his nickname for me was just Spunky.

 Cassandra! Spunky is here!
Yes, it was Gretchen. Burton thanks her and calls her by name.

Nick’s office Nick enters to find Colin waiting for him. This Colin is totally different—not so slick, hair a bit longer, a bit of a beard, not so slimy looking. He’s in a wheelchair. He tells Nick that besides being paralyzed, he’s gone straight, no more drugs, none of that stuff. And as he and Nick used to be friends, he needs Nick’s help, because now he’s broke and he can’t find a place to live that’s wheelchair accessible.
Nick looks at Colin coldly and says “We’re not friends.” Colin just shrugs and leaves.
