        Life is unfair that way .. :crying:  How long is your break, anyway ? You'll probably be missing SSD so much, you'll go back and get some extra credit assignments from him  What fun stuff are you getting up to, during your break ?

I'll have until the beginning of June before I have classes again. And the great news is, SSD won't be teaching next term, or the term after that!!!!  I don't have anything exciting planned for the break . I'll probably be trying to find a job for the Autumn term, so I'll be pretty busy. Plus, I'm trying to find a teaching position for the summer term as well. Besides that, Elsie's first election is in May, so she'll keep me busy helping her campaign.

OK ... I thought it was a longer break than that ;D
I know we've been over this before, but I'm still confused. If you don't have any classes next term, does that mean you're a proper teacher now, and can teach anywhere ? (non-substitute)
I bet Tex'll miss the old Ginster .. :grinyes:

OK--I can be a proper teacher now, with what they call an "emergency certificate." Meaning, if I get a job for the summer term or the autumn term, they would emergency certify me to teach, as I have almost completed the training program.
For 5 weeks starting the first week of June, I will have two classes--a practicum class and a students with exceptionalities class.
Then in August, I will take 3 classes: another practicum, a technology for teachers class, and a teaching literature methods course.
If I am teaching during the 2002-2003 school year, that will be in lieu of my student teaching, and will be referred to as my internship, and I will graduate with my MA in Teaching in May of 2003. ;D

Hmm ... :cool2:
That still sounds confusing, though. You'll probably have to refresh my memory once a month, until May 2003
