I like to cook! Well, when I eat out, I really like Chinese food and Italian food. My favorite? I don't know!! Your poor mum! Cooking away, and you refusing to eat it!

Actually ... it's my grandmother that does the cooking ... and she's obsessed with me eating what she cooks and eating regularly and eating enough ... She bugs me

Hales!!!
You made it safe and sound!!! We've missed you!
What sort of food does your grandmother cook, GB? It actually sounds sweet that she worries about your eating habits, but I know that can be [glow=green,2,300]majorly[/glow] annoying!!!

Remember--I don't know what you classify as grandmother food in SA--it can vary. I live in the Southern US--my idea of grandmother food is fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked apples, yeast rolls, and rhubarb pie. ;D
I'm sure she gives you enough !

Umm .. lets see now. I'm Indian (and so is my grandmother ) so she makes alot of Indian food .. grandmothers ... other than that ... just normal grandma, y'know ? Although I don't get baked apples, yeast rolls, and rhubarb pie

P.S ... I don't really use y'know and y'hear when I'm talking generally, but well .. it's just my new web accent :nyah:

Well, just so you know--y'know, y'hear, and y'all are *common* speech where I live! That's why I was teasing, not so much because they are'nt standard English!!! ;D
Ok, so now I have a better idea of what you mean by grandmother food! I wasn't even thinking of an ethnicity--I just figured you had some different favorites in SA!!! I naturally assumed that you didn't eat much southern sweet pork barbecue (which is what I had for lunch), or my mum's favorite, a sandwich spread called Benedictine (it's not even common around where I live, but is pretty much found where she grew up, about 60 miles away)! ;D
If you want to try them--I'll tell you how to make baked apples! (yum!) And rhubarb pie is good, but blackberry cobbler is better (that's Mum's specialty)!

LOL ... I don't cook :dumb: Well, I can fry/scramble an egg, really I can !! My scrambled eggs just don't taste very good though ... but Shane loves 'em
I can also ... ummm ... microwave just about anything (with instructions) ... impressive, huh ?

My cakes and pies are a delight, my main dishes exquisite, and my soups delectable (am I modest, or what ;D). And I used to be a whiz at making my own bread ;D.
Enough bragging! So what are you two up to?
