She'll be thrilled--that is if she isn't miffed at me for waking her up! ;D

Well, tell her it's time she woke up already  Shane is also a rather obnoxious morning character. He thinks it's cute to wake up and start whimpering at about 4 or 5am  .. and wait for me to pet him back to sleep Either that, or he waits until 6am to jump up on the side of my bed, and scratch me with his paw until I wake up

Hi
Gillybear - does Shane wake anyone else up besides you? ;D
And why would Nan be mad at you Gin?

Since Nan is a guard dog, she does most of her "work" at night. ;D Therefore, she takes naps off and on all day. If you leave the house or a car pulls into the driveway, it wakes her up, and she usually gives you this kind of grumpy face--not mean or angry, just "Why did you wake me up?" Nan's very much a night dog!! 8) How are Shane and Terri? A dreadful thought, GB--tomorrow we must return to the real world--no more break! :crying:

Yeah, Nan's cute, but she's been acting a bit grumpy lately. We think she's feeling a bit middle-aged--she's not as playful as she used to be . She's still a sweetie, though! What's Terri's personality like? We already know that Shane is still in the ornery puppy stage ;D.

How old's Nan? *curiously* Terri's personality when she was younger was playful, adorable and pretty much a family dog, like she has a personality... when you asked her if she wants a walk she got all excited... *sniff* I'd love it if she was that age again... she's 14 years old, and she still struggling to be her former self, although its hard now that she can't see or hear... *sniffle* Okay must change the subject.... Shane looks and sounds adorable... My parents bought a cocker spaniel named CJ a few months ago... I'm yet to meet her

Terri really can't see or hear ? That must be so incredibly heartbreaking :crying: :crying: I don't know what I'll do when Shane gets old ... he's in the ornery puppy stage now .. but that's just the way I see him (being Shane) I can't imagine him in middle age or old age ... know what I mean ? Nan is 4 or 5 yrs old (I think) Noo .. Shane doesn't wake everyone up, just me. He also sometimes likes to bark very early in the morning, for no reason at all (to show off, I suppose : Then I have to jerk out of my sleep and calm him down, before everyone wakes up and comes to strangle him

Hey ... I'm trying to get into the SimonSphere chatroom (from university) and this is the message I get : Bravenet Chat - Unable to Connect
The Bravenet Chat applet failed to connect to the Bravenet Chat server because of one of the following conditions: The Bravenet Chat server is full. Please try again later. The Bravenet Chat server is temporarily down for maintenance. Please try again later. You are trying to connect from behind a firewall. Please contact your network administrator for configuring a SOCKS proxy. I know the problem is trying to connect from behind a firewall. DRAT (hehe) I am in desperate need of the server and port, so that I can get into the chatroom through IRC You usually catch the server name and port when the chatroom is loading, but when I tried to connect from my own computer (where the chatroom worked) I didn't happen to see it. Any ideas ?

 times a hundred
Aww, ornery Shane... although you should be flattered that he only wakes you... could mean he loves you more than anyone in the family... he's you're dog? or the family's?
And why would anyone want to strangle little Shane? *sadly*

No, no .. he's all my mine ... I'm a very proud mommy  Yeah .. and I'm very flattered  They'd probably strangle him ... cos they just aren't dog people (or pet people either) .. and they much prefer their sleep to a little barking brat (They secretly .. and sometimes not so secretly ... love him, though) ... but they're sometimes not so tolerant of his umm .. being Shane, which I have to deal with

Nan is 5, and a book I looked at said the average life span for great pyrenees is 7-8 years. Heehee *over Shane barking early in the morning* Nan's barking all night used to drive us all nuts, but we finally got used to it. I just got into the SimonSphere chat room with no problems (I don't know what causes all the problems you have ). My only problem is that there is never anyone there to talk to!

I cannot believe I am messing around online ... when I have a bunch of work to do. I also just found out that I have a huge psych test on Wednesday this week  (I'm smiling because being as shocked as I should be .. takes way too much effort) I also have a mini-maths test tomorrow I know only 30% of the stuff that it's based on .. so I'm desperately hoping I manage to scrape up a measly 30% :nerd: And I won't get a chance to study for that stupid test ... because tonight I have to finish up my infamous psych essay ... the crappiest essay ever handed in, in the history of the world  So, that's my life at the moment My ranting hour is over ... umm, I think ;D Actually, my university should employ me to talk to first year students about the importance of staying organized and keeping up in your classes! :nerd:
