mb we were working on a scenario for TG – something to keep Nick and Lulu apart – can't ruin that URST!
OK here goes:

<SMB> Kim visits Nick - she is glowing
<SMB> because she has discovered - she is pregnant!

<Gine> With twins.
<SMB> you don't find out about twins usually until about wk 12
<Gine> But it makes the story more fun!
<SMB> I know but it really doesn't fit the time line
<Gine> Ok. The twins can come in later. Go ahead.

<SMB> Nick is torn because he discovers that he really wants to be a father
<Gine> Yup.
<SMB> And he isn't sure that Lulu really cares - after all he might just be her transition person

<SMB> In fact she finds a typical Lulu way to imply just that
<SMB> Without telling her why Nick asks her what her feelings are..
<Gine> So, does he take the position of transistion person while preparing for fatherhood?
<SMB> And she is non-committal - too confused etc

<SMB> Nick decides to marry Kim
<Gine> Absolutely. She is typical Lulu.
<Gine> And still sleep with Lulu until she's through her transition.
<SMB> no - he breaks it off with her without telling why
<Gine>except Kim tells her they are engaged the next day
<Gine> Ok. I suppose. For now.

<Gine> And announces she's pg!!!
<SMB> and Lulu spends the rest of the day throwing up in the ladies
<SMB> no just throwing up
<SMB> not pg
<SMB> right Kim tells Lulu she is pg
<SMB> Lulu is consumed with envy
<Gine> That's what I meant. So they go to the ladies, Kim to have morning sickness, Lu to cry her eyes out.
<SMB> Lulu realises she loves Nick - BUT ITS TOO LATE
<SMB> got to love it
<Gine> She's asked by Kim to be Maid of Honor at the wedding, however, which is two weeks away.
<SMB> Nick and Kim marry the next week in a simple but tasteful ceremony at - some nice atrium somewhere
<mb20> lol
<SMB> with ne'er a swan in sight
<Gine> Lulu has to be maid of honor! It would be so fitting!

<SMB> rub her nose in it
<Gine> She can wear an ugly lime-green dress.
<SMB> I did say tasteful?
<mb20> you guys can throw in random dialogue lines wherever you want ;p
<SMB> I don't do dialog
<Gine> Yes. But the whole idea of a bridesmaid's dress is to make the bridesmaid look hideous and the bride lovely!

<Gine> Kim looks lovely, of course, and Nick dashing in a grey morning coat.

<Gine> LOL
<Gine> Burton can stand up with Nick.
<SMB> Lulu looks strangely wan
<Gine> And the green only adds a greenish tinge to her complexion . . .

<SMB> As Kim and Nick exchange vows - Burton and Lulu's eyes meet ..
<SMB> He doesn't notice she is looking a little greenish/wan because everything is a bit of a blur - but she is an illuring blur
<SMB> She has never needed a father figure more ..
<Gine> So, as Nick and Kim lock lips at the end of the service . . .
<SMB> Lulu decides, in the depths of her frozen heart, that there is only one thing to do
<Gine> . . . shave her head and become a nun.
<SMB> LOL
<mb20> shame
<Gine> Why?
<SMB> I was working up to a boink underneath the main table at the end of the reception
<SMB> between B & L
<Gine> You can still do that!
<Gine> She can change her mind.
<SMB> And then she shaves her head ...
<Gine>However, as they move to the reception, Burton intercepts her, and turns on the Fallin charm . . .

<SMB> until a few weeks later - she discovers she is expecting Nick's brother/sister
<Gine> LOL
<SMB> mb did you like our story?

<mb20> so far, yup.

<Gine>However, as N&L spent the one night together, there is always the chance that he is the father, not the brother.
<SMB> Lulu pg with Nick's sibling
<SMB> oh yes
<SMB> good one
<SMB> Nick really should change condom brands
<SMB> they keep breaking
<Gine> LOL
<Gine> So, Kim and Mattie move in with Nick . . .
<SMB> and Lulu moves in with Burton

<SMB> and makes him quit smoking because it isn't good for the baby to be
<Gine> around the second hand smoke. Very good.
<SMB> when should Nick find out about Lulu's baby
and should he suspect it is his?
<SMB> maybe
<Gine> I think he should. Perhaps the day after he finds out he and Kim are having twins?
<SMB> No two weeks after the wedding
<Gine> Ok.
<SMB> Lulu might conceive at the wedding
<Gine> True. If she wasn't already pg.
<Gine> Nick will naturally assume he's the father.
<SMB> why naturally?
<SMB> could be Burton
<Gine> Well, if Lu didn't move in with Burton, then Nick wouldn't know about Lu and B.
<SMB> Ah but Burton told him that he and Lulu where an item the day they got back from their honeymoon a week after the wedding
<Gine> Oh. Ok.
<SMB> Didn't you know that?
<Gine> Sorry, I missed that part
<SMB> And there I think it should rest for many episodes with Nick and Lulu giving each other tortured looks for months on end

And there you have it Nick angst and Nick/Lulu URST and torture never-ending.

Gin and SMB

Great fanfiction. You should expand on it and make it available to TG. It has as many twists and turns as there are on the show.

Hmmmmmmm - Nick a father of twins and possibly Lulu baby. Could make for a very interesting working relationship at LSoP and F&F. Just cannot see Nick and Kim together, even with fatherhood involved.

Do work on this. Would like to see where you take it.
