Looks like you have a great new toy there, Sara.
How does it work? Do you hook the video up via a special card? Is there any software that can convert video to whatever format DVD uses? I love new technology.

Looks like you have a great new toy there, Sara. How does it work? Do you hook the video up via a special card? Is there any software that can convert video to whatever format DVD uses? I love new technology. Yes you need a special card (a TV card) in addition to your regular video card. That came with screen capture software although it's very basic. I might get something better. You plug in your VCR and watch the video through a little box on the screen, and hit a key every time you want to make a capture. Such fun. You can also capture chunks of video. Haven't tried that yet and can't get the sound to work... I intend to do some caps from TG episodes that haven't been done yet, although I don't have a huge amount of space on SimonSphere to put loads of graphics. I actually got the stuff so I could make grabs and videos of my nieces and nephews to make a CD for overseas relatives. Honestly, that's the reason! |

I always wondered how screen caps were made...
Now you can capture all the "clinchie" "kissie" moments right at the exact perfect time. To quote iconic soup, the captures will "tickle my hormones" ;D
