I thought sure with the repeat of "Monster" that TG would still be out of the top 30 Neilsen ratings, but it came up the15th. That's pretty good in my book. I'm afraid I can't credit David Hollander writing great eps for the show causing TG ratings to go up so high. I credit Simon Baker and all the talk show appearances he did while in New York. He is such a doll on those shows and he did 4 that I know of in one week. The women eat him up ;D and I don't blame them one bit. I thought being opposite "24" would hurt TG, With all the publicity that "24" has gotten lately, but it hasn't. "24" wasn't in the top 30 at all the last 2 weeks. I think the newness has worn off that show. I never liked it at all. Mr. Hollander needs to let Nick be more relaxed and less troubled. That's getting old He has so many hang-ups and is helping everyone and his brother with their problems, when his problem is....HE NEEDS A GOOD WOMAN. LuLu has to unload Brian if she's to be THE one.

I really prefer Troubled Nick. More relaxed just doesn't do it for me ... :uhoh:

I saw Simon Baker on the Reggis and Kelly show and on the Caroline Rhea show.
He has a great sense of humor and of course he is good looking. He did promote TG, but some of what he talked about was Australia and how many Australian actors are in the United States.
TG has had some great scripts but others have not been well written, but well acted. I read where David Hollander says he is working on several scripts at once. Perhaps he should concentrate on producing one good script at a time and just make notes of his other ideas instread of writing so many at a time.
A less tense NF would not be good. With trying to please everyone all the time and the pressure from his father, LSoP, appearing in court as a child advocate would make anyone tense. That is really the great part of the show of how he handles all the various pressures on him.
If he and Lulu are to eventually "get together" that is fine, but in the meantime, he should stop seeing Kim as she really does nothing for the show - no chemistry.
What about the relationship between BF and Farrah F character. Perhaps a good romance between them would make for a very interesting story line with NF having to deal with another woman who could take his mother's place.
Am looking forward to Tuesday show as there is to be a definite battle between Lulu and NF.
Am glad to here the ratings are so high. It is a good show and deserves a third season. Now if only someone could convince DH that his scripts need to improve to meet the high level of acting

Agreed!! Improved script writing is a necessity. I feel the reason for the discrepencies is that there are too many writers, some collaberating on the same script. There is bound to be differences in following the original format. Each writer is putting his own feelings into the character. This is why SB is having trouble accepting the scripts. The time he has spent to create the image of the Nick Fallin character during the first season is being put down. The diversion is what is causing all the differences in the weekly critiques we read on this sight. Some like the new Nick, some don't. Sometimes he bounces back and forth. Maybe this is on purpose too keep the viewer on edge. I think not! I think DH has taken on too many responsibilities without Pressman and is delegating script writing too often. He needs to refocus!
