I just finished watching an interview with Simon on The View :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool:

Imagine Simon being interviewed by 4 outspoken women--it was hilarious!! :drool:

He was wearing a dark (black I think) knit shirt and dark pants, and is sporting slightly longer hair and a very short beard during hiatus. :drool:

He was absolutely adorable when they got him flustered! :drool: Two of the hosts even grabbed his arms to smell (after one of them brought up the quote from People magazine about him not wearing deodorant)! He positively blushed! :drool:

It was an absolutely wonderful interview! :drool: They had him so embarrassed at times he had to keep drinking water! :drool:

I broke the :drool: limit, but I couldn't help it!!!!!

Just watched Simon on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The interview wasn't as good as the one on the View, but I think that was due to the interviewer, not Simon.  

Let's see--this evening he was wearing what looked like the same black jeans (maybe) and the same boots, but this time the maroon pullover was on top with a black one underneath (just a little switch, perhaps? :eye:).

They talked about the show a little, and Jon was telling him how adorable Harry was (I guess Harry was backstage with Rebecca). Then they got into a big discussion on unusual names and Australian nicknames. There was no mention of People magazine or movies or anything else.

We did get to see a different clip from TG, however. One with he and Burton discussing a client.

I forgot to mention that Simon did smile a lot on the Daily Show, and he and Jon cracked up with laughter a couple of times--it looked like they were having fun. :biggrin:

Yup, I checked out the screencaps at the other Yahoo group.  That's now I came to :pukeface: when I saw the beard .. :lol:

Jon Stewart's the funny guy who presented the Grammy's this year, right ?  He's funny .. :razz:  
Only he insulted Creed at some point of the show ..  :angry:

He just grinned like a proud papa!!  

The beard wasn't that bad!! As somebody said on Yahoo--it made him look kind of scruffy, which is a whole different kind of sexy!  8)

I don't like a lot of facial hair, but a neatly trimmed or very short beard can be attractive.

I was reading the mini transcripts of Simon on The View and The Daily show.  They're hilarious !!  :lol:

"I am NOT a gay man....but even I am undressing you with my eyes."

Lisa says, "He's so cute. Now I gotta fan." (fans herself with her intro card).

Jon then went on some mini-rant about how Aussies were supposed to be tougher than Americans, he's like, "you guys are tougher, bigger...." - Simon totally
serious, and looking like he was going to kick Jon's butt, said "just what are you trying to say mate." Jon, goes meekly, "...um, just to not hit a man with asthma." Big laughs from the audience. Jon asked Simon if he got back to Australia, and he said yes -- also mentioning that he had just been surfing in Fiji (I think) with a pal named "Poodley," LOL...that got the ball rolling on names again, Nicknames to be precise.

Simon said Aussies have a penchant for Nicknames - Jon asked him what his nickname was...and this is where you will die....he goes..."well...it's kinda embarassing -- it's....'horse.' " The audience and Jon roar. Then Simon
couldn't keep a straight face, and just LOST IT, and started laughing his ass off -- he yells, "NO, NOOO...it's not HORSE!!! (He was so boyish and funny)
Jon was cracking up. Simon then admitted his nickname was "Smiley." Awwww.....could that be anymore appropo! Jon said he wanted a nickname....Simon said I actually used to have a mate named "Jon Stewart,"
Jon goes -- "well that's not a good nickname, that's a lame nickname...how about 'poochie.'" Simon, said he liked it. Jon said he'd like to visit Australia and he would come stay at Simon's house, Simon goes, "well I don't
have a house, but I'll meet you there." big laughs.
