Sorry M.A.Y. but I just cannot agree with you that the stuff with Kim was a debacle. I certainly don't dislike Lulu and I am sure that she and Nick will have some closure, but I though Kim was some great light relief for Nick and they were great together.

I was hoping Kim won't be back anymore, but I guess I was wrong. More sex scenes? I hope not. The two don't have on screen chemistry, IMO. This will probably make Lulu uncomfortable now that she admitted to Nick that she doesn't love Brian. I have a feeling Lulu will be hesistant to have a relationship with Nick when she sees him and Kim together.  |

I agree with kwintet, I liked the rapport between Nick and Kim. The lovemaking wasn't slow and easy between them, but it was refreshing to see him having pleasure, after Lulu's lousy treatment of him. I loved seeing her squirm.
It was nice to see Nick enjoying himself. He was miserably unhappy through most of S1 and deserves a little fun. After a while they can reintroduce Lulu into his life....after she rids herself of her bozo husband, that is.

I agree with both kwintet and Babe....so what's new, eh, Babe? Kim was not the love of Nick's life but she was an interesting diversion and it showed Nick in a "different" environment and a little more relaxed. I like the stuff we see when he's not at work....there's precious little of it.

I too would like to see Kim out of the future where NF is concerned.
Also, I agree that Brian needs to get out of Lulu's life, but should that be in the future I hope that DH devises a unique means for this to take place. There should not be an accident or something like that. How about a hostage situation at his hospital (just as in Denzel Washington's movie) and poor Brian just disappears in a "hero" way that then opens the future for Lulu and NF.
Even Kim needs an unusual way out. Hope there are not too many future bedroom scenes as in the past The Guardian did receive some awards for having episodes that were family oriented with themes that families could relate to.

My guess is that Lulu and Brian's marriage will collapse under the pressue of Brian's unfaithfulness.
And Nick will eventually get sick of being kicked out of bed Kim and told to leave before her son gets home. It makes for a rather restricted relationship and I can see him getting sick of it pretty quickly.
