That was pretty much how Baker felt about work this year. "It's relentless," he says of "The Guardian." "It's five days a week, but Friday will bleed truly into Saturday. We shoot one hour every eight days. The first two to three weeks of the season, I had a headache constantly. There was so much to deal with it was just hurting my brain. I had brain aches. I thought I made a mistake, at times. I'm a realist. I really enjoy what I do. I made the decision to do what I do because I love being an actor."
He just seems weary in this excerpt.
I would like to see this go a long time. but it is a LOT of responsibility on one man's shoulders when we really don't want to see any other story line except Nick's.

No, No, No, Mr. Simon Baker.....we can't have any of this weariness......let's suck up that good old Australian energy and keep going.....otherwise it's no TV for this fan.

Of all my previous predictions-- (and only the writers know for sure --or do they?) I stand firm that there will be a season three. I believe the series will grow more in popularity during season two. TEXThow many years does his contract run?

From doyle on SBOL USA Today site.
"Farrah Fawcett will appear on the first and third episodes of second- year drama The Guardian. She will play the mother of Mandy Gressler, the stripper whose head injury in the season-ender landed Nick (Simon Baker) in jail. Fawcett's character has information that will affect Nick's future."
I suppose this means we get to see Nicky on trial? :flush:

Farrah! I think that's pretty cool, actually. Is it odd that I can already see her as Mandy's mom?

I don't think NF will go on trial. That's too soap opera. I think we "may" see him detained briefly in the first episode. I think FF is a good Mandy-Mom choice. She's pretty, but now has a hard look to her. If NF stays in jail for any length of time or if there is even a sniff that he might go to trial, I'll give up TG. After that I dont' see how they can have him be a lawyer in good standing. What client would want him for their lawyer? Realistically. PS. I don't really mean any of this.

Me thinks that Farrah Fawcett will be an ally for Nick rather than the one that puts him in Jail... I hope... please tell me thats where their going with that? :uhoh:
