Nick will be in a lot of trouble for Mandy's death at first but will be cleared eventually. Nick will help his father get their law firm back from that sleazy Caldwell and both father and son will be closer than ever. Nick will be supportive of his father during his illness (Yes, I think Burton will be ill next season). James and Alvin's professional relationship will be strained because of what happened to Levi but they will be at least civil to one another. Lulu will redeem herself and be supportive of Nick during his emotionl crisis and will become really close friends. This is when Lulu realizes that it is Nick he loves and not Brian. Divorce is eminent. I see Nick having trysts with women here and there while thinking that it is hopeless with Lulu, but Lulu will always be his one true love. I also see many hurdles between the two of them, but eventually they'll get together after a couple of episodes. What's your predictions?

As far as the Nick/Lulu situation --- I am predicting tension, tension, tension. ;D While his interest in her might be temporarily exstinguished, sooner or later the two will get together. JMHO - but those two seem like the 8 o'clock hour's version of Mac and Harm from JAG. It might take numerous seasons and other potential love interests for them to get together --- but, like rain and tax, it will be inevitable.

I pray it doesn't take Nick & Lulu six years or more to get together! I am getting tired of waiting for Mac and Harm to get thier acts together!
I doubt "The Guardian" will last that long anyway--not that I don't love the show, but realistically how many times can Nick get community service as punishment? And I doubt he'll give up corporate law to practice family law...

My predictions so far are that Lulu, while settling in to marriage, will become a truer friend to Nick. I think she will feel safe in doing that since she is married. I also agree with opinions expressed by others that Nick will not have an affair with her as long as she is married. I think he has the character to back away.
Lulu will support him through his trouble with the police over Mandy's death (or near death), and get to know him better. There is a good chance EMTs will revive her if she had a heart attack due to the amount of drugs she took.
My crystal ball tells me that Nick will be too busy getting his life straightened out and working on his relationship with his father to get involved with any women.
As time goes on, I'm sure I'll think of a more twists and turns that will drive me nuts all summer!

Actually I predict that Lulu will continue to be as self-absorbed as ever. She will be in a difficult marriage and will be too absorbed in that to notice anything that goes on with Nick. Same as always.

Next prediction: Second episode, second season.
Lulu arrives at work. Looks around. "Where's James?"

This is my first contribution here.
Many plot lines came to some sort of finale. How do they continue into next fall? 1. For Nick to be a Guardian he has to be out of jail. I believe he is in deep with his personal legal troubles. Mandy hit Nick on the top of the stairs knocking him over. She also had cocaine(?) in her system. I believe in the end Nick will not go to jail. 2. I believe also that Nick will eliminate Caldwell and evil Mitchell. However, Mitchell, I don't think, will ever go permanently away. He'll be around to cause trouble. 3. Lu Lu, I believe did get married. I think she was very vulnerable and in her personal life is very immature. I only hope they offer some sort of romance for Nick yet, I would like to see the sexual tension between him and Lu Lu, which I feel they will. I believe, too, that Brian will be an abuser of Lu Lu, where Nick will save here as her knight in armour.
4. Hunter? This plot allows the only visible evidence that Nick has a warm and loving side to him. He allows his emotions to come out here.
5. Alvin, I believe will be stand up for Nick and thereby save Nick's neck, thus continuining the season. Nick will not buy into gratitude as he resents Alvin for many reasons.
6. Fallin and Assoc. will be run by Nick as Burton passed down his large office to Nick. Jake will remain as the second fiddle. Nick works off Jake to show his ruthless corporate expertise.
Thanks for letting me share; I enjoy reading your thoughts too.

Not very original but here are my predictions. Mandy will exonerate Nick, thereby allowing him to continue on as child advocate Guradian. Nick & Jake will have their own business (gotta have the Fallin name appear on the door) and Lipman & Caldwell will create many headaches for Nick & Father, holding "the deal" over their heads for leverage. James will not leave and will take up parenting classes and regain full Guardianship of Levi--no more boxing- Lulu, Lulu,-- no prediction except she will find our truth about the Jerk she married--maybe short lived marriage- maybe short lived life for him, like an accident The guardianship of Hunter will not remain with Grandparents--strong bond between Nick & Hunter from very first eps. Guardian has many meanings--we'll see. My last prediction is that at the end of season"02 there will be a season"03.

Yes definitely a season three! I'm not sure what I want for season two except to have Nick exonerated from the Mandy fiasco... and maybe a really good relationship between father and son... I lost as to what to do with Lulu, I like her but I don't like how she treated Nick... heartless witch... of course her excuse is that she's a 'confused, and not sure kind of gal' but that doesn't mean much at the moment. Um, maybe to see Nick get Fallin & Associates back to how it should be too... and Jake and Nick to make friends, also some kind of friendly attitude between Alvin and Nick would be great... definitely more Alvin too... As for anything else......ish

I've been thinking a lot about this and it's my belief--and my hope--that if the Allegheny County District Attorney's office is as overworked and underfunded as most big city DA offices seem to be they'll give Nick a pass on this one. A probation officer is dead, the woman who killed him is dead (at least it seems so), probation officer was a sleazeball and she was a druggie floozy with no redeeming qualities so why waste the time and effort is what I think the official line of reasining may very well turn out to be. Besides, Mandy hit Nick with something as he was making that phone call to the detective, so self-defense ought to enter the picture somewhere. Just surmising.

I don't think Mandy is dead. She is the one who can clear Nick in what seems to be a murder case. Also, I was thinking the police officer that Nick called will probably have an idea that Mandy broke into Nick's house as he called him several times to report about Mandy. Just a thought.

I think that whatever we think, DH is going to blow us away in the first episode. It will either be so underplayed or so overplayed, we'll be writing about it for months.
I predict that Simon will be too tired and overworked to go on to season 3. The last article was a lettle disheartening.
So, let's enjoy season 2!
Get your tapes ready, upgrade your computers, and limber those fingers.

I haven't a clue whats going to happen season two but hopefully more Burton/Nick moments (I love it when they communicate with each other... except when they're glaring daggers at one another)
I don't know what Simon will do, he probably doesn't... I think he'll have adopted a wait an see attitude to season two before he considers a season three (I'm all for him doing a season three though!)
What article?
