Hey Hales ;D 8) THanks for posting on here. As you can see, my little message board is lingering in the dark corner of the web ... Anyways, I live in South Africa and we've only just seen the first three episodes of The Guardian too. ;D ;D I'm a member on the Simon Baker Online yahoo club, I haven't seen you on there ... So anyways ... I'll see you on here, or there, or wherever 8) I'm 18, btw .. how old are you ? Where in Australia are you from ?

I live in Queensland - I'm 22. I haven't joined the Simon Baker fan club yet but I will soon. What do you think of The Guardian so far? I like it Simon is great (no bias intended really) and I love the 'interesting' relationship between Nick and his father Burton. Plus the storyline involving young Hunter Reed is great too.

Hey again ;D ;D This is like the 20th time I've tried to reply ... it keeps me logged in on the two previous screens ... but inside the thread ... it miraculously logs me out I think I'm going to use another host ... proboards have too many ads Anyways ... I get to watch the 4th episode of The Guardian today !!! Hehe, I love Tuesdays now ;D I think The Guardian is great so far. I think it's an excellent show ... even if Simon wasn't in it ;D And I think Hunter Reed is cute I was happy that the Hunter Reed case wasn't all wrapped up in one episode. Hunter comes back in a later episode too ... when the verdict on his father's trial comes in ... I think. Have you watched The Affair of The Necklace ? Has it even been released in Australia ? I know there was a limited release in the US ... but that may change, since the oscar nomination. I know I have a chance in hell of it getting released in SA ... but I checked a South African DVD site ... and it's going to get released on DVD here in June ... a long time to wait ... but it's still something, hehe Anyways, I gots to be off to a maths lecture now ... See ya

Yup, I've seen the 4th episode ;D Well, since it's Thursday, I've seen it about 4 times now ... now THAT's ~sad~ Anyways, I thought it was great !! Hehe, Simon was TOO cute. 8) The part where they were all sitting around the table, and they talked about this being their third date ... cute, cute. I can't believe we're still stuck at the 4th episode !! On the yahoo clubs I joined ... everyone's talking about stuff that happens wayyy later in the program, I hate being left behind Btw, The Affair of the Necklace is a film with Simon Baker (d'oh) and Hillary Swank, I think. It's like a period piece ... weird hair and costumes etc ... not really my kind of film, but I'm still happily waiting for the DVD ;D That's basically all I know about the film ... in the Rosie O'Donnell interview I downloaded ... the was like a 30 second clip of it ... and it looked ok, Simon looked great in it. ;D

I've only seen it once but I seem to keep daydreaming about it, I'm probably going to make you jealous but we're getting episodes five and six next Wednesday.... by the way that picture of Simon is making me drool... excuse me why I go wipe my keyboard He's so handsome and his wife is soooo lucky... mind if I drool some more??? Anyway was just wondering what you're opinion is of Nick and his father's relationship...... As for the episode I loved it, Nick needs to smile more though, I love his small smiles during the episode... also was wondering if you noticed how whenever Nick walks into his father's office he sits down and doesn't look at all comfortable, do you think he's intimidated by his own father?

WOW ... why do you get episodes 5 and 6 next Wednesday I'll only watch episode 5 on Tuesday aarrghh ... life is so unfair And ... I'm not posting any more Simon pictures on the BB, you'll just drool all over them ;D About the Nick Burton relationship ... yeah, it's very tense, isn't it. Nick isn't comfortable at all around him ... but I sort of like that it's tense ... adds more to the story. Maybe he is intimidated by his own father ... but I think it's just the way the relate, they're distant like that. Gawd .. Nick REALLY needs to smile more. Those smiles are so rare, and so incredibly cute. The only time he smiled completely was when Rachael was talking to him about when he used to dress himself and put on his shirt inside out ... that smile just about killed me Hmmm .. lets see if this works now ...

I don't always drool over Simon, just the pictures he's in... I saw the last recent episode of The Guardian last night and drooled over Nick (not Simon, but Nick ) again, that and I felt sorry for the young lawyer , he looks sad. The channel that The Guardian is on over here seems to think that we'd like to see two episode next week , I'm all for two. What with it being Simon Baker and all, two more reasons to drool over him *innocently* I love Nick Fallin because he's seems to be an underdog, in fact I don't even think his father knows him that well. Seems to me that Nick has to prove to everyone who knows him (and loves him...but its hard to tell who loves Nick in the episodes that I've seen ) that he's just as good as they are. The only thing that doesn't work in his favour is that his father is already a popular and well known person, and I think that Nick feels trapped. Which is why I think he took drugs in the first place. Got any ideas? Did I mention poor Nick!?

;D... poor, poor Nick YEah ... I think Nick is very detached ... I mean, he's a 'hotshot' corporate guy .. and such, but he's still very detached. I think that's why he took the drugs. In the last episode ... at the table, when Barbara mentioned the Richard Cory thing ... the poem about the guy who seemed fine, and immaculate ... who eventually killed himself ... and then Jake recited the first part of it ... I think that was a huge reference to Nick, and his life. The drugs were his weapon. And the intimidating influence his father has over him, doesn't help either. Hey, guess what, I think I'm flying over to Australia .. to catch the 5th and 6th episode next week seeing South Africa has an obvious lack of 'kind' channels. Yeah .. in a way, I drool over Nick, more than I drool over Simon ... but ... both are good *smirk* Yeah ... so, did you look at the 2nd picture I linked to ? That's my favourite picture of Simon It just about kills me, everytime Look at that smile ... aaarrgghh.
