Still doesn't give him a right to act like he did in the episode...
I loved the Burton/Nick scenes... and I tried desperately to see the orange juice dribble down the boy's chin but couldn't see it...
I adored the Amanda quitting scene... especially when Burton welcomed Nick back to the firm!
I hated the line that Jake said to Amanda: get drunk and do drugs... I wanted to throw something at the television... of course it wasn't my television so I held back

I loved the orange juice dribbling scene, too. Warming the syrup for the pancakes is above and beyond, but then maybe Burton likes his that way.
Not only is secondhand smoke bad for Nick, Burton isn't doing himself any favors by sucking on those things. If he wants to be there for Nick, as he obviously does, he should lose the cancer sticks.
Maybe Nick didn't smoke (tobacco, anyway), but with Dad smoking, Mom taking pills (thanks to Jeremy letting that one slip in "Family") and his paternal grandfather an alcoholic, it's not hard to see why Nick had a tendency for using. The whole Fallin family could do with some straightening out. Then again that's one of the messages of this show: nobody's perfect.
