From iconic, new synopsis for All The Rage...
"Nick's life spirals into turmoil when he is sentenced to court-ordered anger management therapy by the court. LuLu gets the job in California, James gets into trouble and Shannon's father returns looking for custody of his daughter".
I guess the million dollar queston now is, she GETS the job but does she TAKE the job? I smell a cliff-hanger!

From TVGuide... Guardian All the Rage 60 min. Situations that have been simmering during the second season boil over in the finale into stories of rage, ranging from simple outbursts to cold-blooded violence. James, who has been overcome with guilt for attacking an innocent Taliek (Vicellous Shannon), decides to confess and make restitution. He's advised not to by Nick, who has his own problems. The idea of being separated from Lulu if she takes the job in California leaves the normally articulate counselor unable to express himself. His frustration erupts in a courtroom outburst that prompts the judge to order him into anger-management sessions. Meanwhile, Shannon's father (Courtney Gains) shows up and wants custody of his daughter. (VCR Plus+ 90042) Visit our Guardian ShowGuide Cast: Simon Baker, Dabney Coleman, Alan Rosenberg, Raphael Sbarge, Charles Malik Whitfield, Wendy Moniz, Kathleen Chalfant, Amanda Michalka, Mark Kiely, Vicellous Shannon, Denise Dowse, Courtney Gains Category: Drama Release Year: 2003 ******** I hope we don't have to hear 'I love you' again, 'cept this time in person and to Lulu. Twice in two years would be too much sap for my liking. Too bad that is sounds like the problem gets solved by Lulu's staying, I'd like to see them spend some time on Nick working through this, if it can't be a premanent loss, a multi-episode stretch would be nice Unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen and we'll end up with as much depth as that gimmicky car crash

I don´t think there is gonna be a nice end of season, i´ve been thinking that probably Nick will end cover with blood with a very serious injury, after all his always in the middle of the "fire" but never gets really hurt... Maybe he says to LuLu the LOVE thing, and after what I read in the new spoilers definatelly he feels something for her or he wouldn´t have this blow off in court... so when everything is getting better, he is gonna save someone and get hurt, this would be a great end,.... of course i don´t know how i would manage to survived till october for the next season, but well... we´ll see!! Sorry... I just let my imagination fly to much....I´m going back to work now!!

I remember in the episode Heart he was talking to the girl about how Burton sent him away shortly after his mother died. He said rather bitterly, "I'm still angry".
Whenever Burton brings up this subject about him and how he should've been there and how he raised him. Nick always seems to brush it off or uses his mom as an excuse almost like saying, "You hurt mom not me! I;m fine. If you didn't leave her she would still be alive. "
There was also a scene from last season when Burton was having a conversation with his then-girlfriend about the time when Nick's mom was yelling "Your killing me!" to Burton right in front of Nick. I think that made a lasting impression on him that perhaps he hasn;t really let go off but thinks he has.
So you can imaging the poor man's fears when LuLu suddenly blurts out "Hey I got a job in California. and I think i'm gonna take it". Here'a woman who in his eyes is someone he can spend the rest of his life with. He's been patient, sweet seeing her through a love-less marriage, a life-threatening accident that almost took her away from him. He's lost her so many times now he's finally with her. She seems happy, He is definitely Nick Fallin;s world the proper word should be "content".
NOw she wants to move to California because of a job?
Mom leaves, Dad sends him away, and LuLu want to move to the west coast...
What gives?
or it might also be a case of me reading too much into this who show!!

While Lulu and Nick both seem rather enthralled by the prospect of being together, and she made progress by getting him upstairs -- I think its what's in the *inside* that really will matter the most to her, perhaps just as much if not even more than their amorous encounters. I think that Lulu is willing to take the relationship in "steps" with Nick, moving at his pace, but holds onto the hope that it can be something more. Nick will have to back his physical commitment to her up with an emotional one, and I think that's where things will get difficult.

Sarah, I think he `ll tell her how he truly feels too, but i still don`t know why she is even considering a job in california when she is OK in there or at least that`s what the show is showing us.... Why? Is she looking for a new thing to torment Nicky? If she hurts him i`m going to And yes, I think he`ll feel again that none cares about him... poor man, i like when he is angry but he is gonna suffer too...

I still think something must happen next episode, something baaaaaad, that makes her believe it´d be better if she leaves....I don´t see the point on leaving the ways things are right now. I guess DH is not dropping on the news the plot of the two last episodes. He is hiring something big for sure

Maybe LuLu will use the possibility of going to California as a way to force Nick into agreeing to be more committed to their relationship, such as it is.
After all, she successfully used her date with Dan the Yoga Man to get Nick to finally make a move......She seems to know now how to push Nick's buttons.

:bouncing:fingers....I meant DH is HIDING something... yes, totaltotal....she succeed....but nick knew her number all the time!. I´m for the surprise...if that ep was so flat in some viewers opinion might be because he is holding the good stuff for the last two...the old angry nick coming back....maybe lulu remembers that, besides having intimacy issues, he is an addict and not exactly a recovering one...and that´s why she thinking about moving....and as someone said...she has more opportunities to drive her car in sunny california... ;D

This is sort of OT, but I HAVE to put this somewhere... WIMTY: the incline first, nick uses the word "fantastic"....wow, that´s new. Maybe he is not making improvements in the drug issue, but his vocabulary is getting better. Then, after checking Dantheyogaman is completely harmless, and dismissing him the same way he did (Solidarity) with Brian(with the exact same expression in his face ....I just love this show!) asking him what does he do besides the yoga....I mean, after that, he looks directly to Lulu and says he is leaving the table...and says a line using TWICE the word "quick".....if this is not a hot and funny unsubtle subliminal message...and then he heads to the bathroom....NICK FALLIN SAYING THAT!... I love this show....wildly do!...... ;D and again, sorry for the OT....but I was reallyROFLMAO at home!

I find it really hard to believe that Lulu is so clueless that she doesn't know how Nick feels. Its easy to say 'I love you' - its much harder to behave lovingly. As Pattycake has already stated, Nick stood by her through a love-less marriage and a life-threatening accident. If she doesn't feel loved by him now she never will, no matter how often he says it.
I have said it before and will say it again: Nick has always loved Lulu and she knows it. She said so. From the start it is Nick who has been pushing for a relationship, not Lulu. Besides, the very fact that she considers the move puts into question HER commitment, not his.
I would be really disappointed with DH if he only introduced to 'going to Cali' plotline as a device to get Nick to go 'wuv ya'. That would be too cheap and soapy, IMHO.
Some have stated that they think Lulu will pretend to get the job in order to manipulate Nick into going 'wuv ya'. Firstly, if she was that manipulative, playing stupid games then I would just say "Good riddance. Take the job. Go!" and would hope Nick would too. I actually have a better opinion of Lulu than this.
I agree with Pattycake that the real reason for the Cali plotline is to explore Nick's abandonment issues. The spoilers make clear that it is his inability to deal with the emotions it raises that make him lose his cool.

I guess DH is not dropping on the news the plot of the two last episodes. He is hiring something big for sure Believe me, I would love to see N and LL together, but I can't help but think that something baaaaad is going to happen. I did notice two things in the dinner party scenes that makes me worry: (1) when LL leaves the room to go get the apron, Nick looks at the table, all fussied up, and there's a strange look on his face; and (2) when James said "whipped" to him, I really didn't see a grin - it was a flat look.....I think the committment thing hasn't been resolved yet....I have a feeling - and please don't get on my case for this----that Nick's going to purposefully have a fling or something with another woman---- please convince me that I'm totally totally wrong on this........
