I chose the second due to well admitting... that everyone wants Nick to be miserable, so I guess he should but only for a couple of episodes... otherwise its just to angsty And I might miss LuLu... depends how she leaves

Only 'might'? 'Fess up, Hales. You'd miss her heaps, if only because she is so good at torturing Nick.

I love to see Nick´s puppy beautiful eyes, but you know for three moths just think he´s feeling miserable is too much, let´torture him during the episode and give him some joy at the end... ;D Last season the final episode was simply outstanding, because I read the first episode of the second season in simonsphere a couple of minutes after i saw it.... but now it´s gonna be so different... as you know in Argentina they are showing again the the first season episodes but I saw thanks to cecilia and totaltotal the new ones... so this time I´m going to suffer...

Could Lulu/Wendy really be pregnant and having her gone for a few episodes would give Nick a real shock and perhaps fatherhood in the future?

Could LuLu/Wendy really be pregnant and having her gone for a few episodes would give Nick a real shock and perhaps fatherhood in the future? This has been a common theory, that Lulu may leave in the finale but return visibly pregnant a few episodes into the new season. As to whether or not there's a real-life pregnancy for WM behind this, I guess time will tell. Although many would argue that babies are usually "death wishes" for TV Shows, I do think that The Guardian is one of the few series that this type of element could work on. DH hasn't hesitated to remind Nick a few times during the season that he has nothing and no one to come home to, and that maybe its time for a change. I keep going back to DH saying that if there was a season three, "big things would happen." For Nick Fallin, fatherhood would definitely fit into that category.

Rosiiii
I agree with you that babies kill most shows, but with Nick having a hard time relating to anyone/anything, his upbringing, his drug problems, relationships with father and others, a baby might be the answer in this show.
Do you remember how he held the baby in an episode last year? The baby was born to the very young couple and they were found in Lulu's house. Would be interesting to watch him bond with a child and try to work that type of relationship into his life, when he can hardly function now.
I assume with the comments that SB has made about directing three episodes next year, that TG has been picked up. I saw today where CBS is to announce its 2003-2004 schedule today, May 12th.
What is your opinion with adding another source of "complication, conflict, and lots of more working hours to NF's already full days?
Should be fun to watch.

Hey quilter! Scuse me' did I say that? "babies kill most shows?" LOL
But anyway - loved your post...and that scene in "Shelter," where he was cautiously rocking that baby to and fro, looking a wee bit anxious, was great! With his own he'd be equally, if not more terrified! ;D I think this show is unique in that Nick Fallin with a baby would be a challenge that he is not yet ready to deal with, though I would love to see what Simon would do with all the emotions that a child would bring forth in Nick. It would be phenomenal.
I also see Lulu (if she's mom..heh) not taking any crap from him, she'd try and put her foot down regarding his 80 hour weeks that's for sure. Also, I don't see them getting married..at least not right away, which would provide even more angst for Nick, not to mention Burton and Mama Caroline. Who knows maybe custody battles would lurk on the horizon, and/or pre-nup suggestions from burton that would outrage Miss Lulu...I see them being able to take a scenario like this and do a lot with it.
How's this for a juicy fanfic scene. Nick and lulu decide to cool it, as they figure the baby's on the way, and they've gotten each other in enough trouble. ;-) However, the fire, love and bond is still there between them. Nick is with some bimbo at the Incline, Lulu walks in and deliberately spoils his shot at getting some release, by flashing her big ol belly. Bwahaaa.

ROSIIII´S FAN HERE..... Hey, Rosiiii....I´d love to see that Burton and Caroline interaction.....and even when I do like Sarah´s fic and dying to read the finale, it´s sort of heartbreaking. Why don´t you give us some burton-caroline, burton-lulu, caroline-nick arguments?..... ..... I mean, since Sarah is not dropping her books, you could help the fans with another story based on the probably pregnancy...... :thud: (i love the :thud:.......!)

[/img]
Keep the 'fanfic' on the 'fanfic' pages, so the rest of us can live in some semblance of reality --- after all, it is a TV show!. PS: CBS fall lineup is due out on Wednesday.

Awwww! What a great idea cecilia -- thanks! As a matter of fact, I could post a new fanfic everytime one of these rude "guests," (fms) posts something nasty to me -- as a kind of punishment! Then again, they're secretly probably my biggest fans, voraciously reading all my Nick & LuLu mush in secret, despite their best intentions. So in actuality I could be playing right into their hands - by posting more fic. Oh hell, I'll just assume they're genuine, and actually hate it (and me) - and what's more, that they must be ripping their hair out at the roots when so many people read the fics and threads. ;D Dear "not a rosiiii fan," "not a Rosiii fan for sure," and "me too," don't hate me because you guys are boooooring and I'm not. Heh. Keep the 'fanfic' on the 'fanfic' pages, so the rest of us can live in some semblance of reality --- after all, it is a TV show!. Yeah, you can't get any more 'realistic' than a "TV show," right? Bwaa. D'oh & D'uh.
