Ahh finally! I can log in again! Now I can make a post.
As you guys know, we are a little behind with TG in Australia but I wanted to comment on Nick, and how I miss angsty Nick.
I know it was inevitable that he was to smile a little more and 'open up' in a sense, for Nick Fallin, but I do miss the fact that he was much more angsty and hard to break back in the day.
Of course you can't keep a character too hard harted the whole way through, they are going to change and form relationships, but in some miserable sense I hope he closes up again and has to be opened back up even more finely and fragially than before.
This is all from memory of course, so i could be totally wrong. When i see the episodes again i may rethink this thought.

The one with Nick wearing an apron (I still can't get over that!) during the dinner party with Lulu? I just wondered because I was saying the exact same thing after that episode aired here in the U.S. Not to begrudge Nick a little happiness here and there, but happy Nick just isn't as interesting as angst-ridden Nick IMO, of course. I actually wondered if TG had jumped the shark at that point. Not to worry, however. No spoilers here, but rest assured the angst comes back -- big time -- in the coming episodes. atotaltotalfan P.S. I didn't like Lulu much in this episode either. She seemed whiny to me. But later I came to be in a more forgiving move, because she ends up having to deal with a lot....

I did indeed just watch Burton and Ernie! *grins*
Oh besides the apron ther were so many moments in that episode, which i have to admit I thought it was a graphic episode compared to the others i have scene.
Oh, but Nick, he kills me. SB did SUCH a good job in so many parts there, he got the face expressions for the scene down pat.
I totally agree with what you are saying. Of course, i guess he can't stay angsty so to speak forever, ahh how love changes everything haha. I suppose because his character is central to being one that lacks feelings on the surface, and progressing like change sometimes takes awhile to get used to.
Thanks for the heads up about the next episodes, looking forward to them, the previews have done justice so far.
I also noticed..something about Lulu..I don't know, usually i think she absolutely gorgeous, but she seemed slightly whiny that episode.

Hi! I think b&e, as total said once long time ago, is more Simon than Nick....(I guess you meant it in the nickandlulu scenes more than interacting with other characters). I love the incline diner/lunch (yes, he is sexy even speaking with his full mouth... mouth full?.....)...:thud: he is so proud of himself and so mischievously childish!....I love this guy. I like Lulu almost all the time, and I think she is also having a lot of fun (she is in love and loves to see his man being happy and swaggering), paying back what she had to endure the only way she can; they all (nick, lulu, alvin, james, laurie, jake) act like good sports that night, what gives us a lot of hope that is gonna be taken out really fast next episode! It´s not gonna be one of my fav. episodes but for that scene between them.....:littleangel2:....just love it! (I´m not very clear today, sorry....I guess the flue is digging holes in my brain and the few ideas are leaking out). I guess DH and the rest used that ep. and week to take a deep breathe in order to get to the final with all the energy...
