glow=red,2,300]Alert[glow]A brief itm in the print version of today's NYC Daily News says CBS in quest of ratings is moving Cupid to 9 p.m. Tuesday starting August 5. No word if this is to carry over into the fall or when, if ever, TG reruns will be aired.
What good a letter-writing campaign to Les Moonves, head of entertainment at CBS, will do I don't know, but perhaps if enough fans (like us) make our unhappiness with this development known perhaps we can cause the powers that be to change their minds.
According to Jen at nickfallin.com, snail mail carries more weight because it indicates the serious intent of the writer; however, e- mail has been known to bring about some results. She supplies the CBS snail mail and e-mail addresses.
She also advises that correspondents keep in mind that they are representing all fans of the show and to be professional and courteous. (Just as well; I don't think I could air my opinion of Moonves' ancestry and habits in any forum.)
Addresses are:
Mr. Leslie Moonves CBS Television City 7800 W. Beverly Boulevard Los Angeles, California 90036
The CBS Guardian site has a feedback page.
E-mail can be sent to Audience Services, audsvcs@cbs.com and will go to the same place as the feedback form.
