Due to the California recall election, the local CBS station cut in the show (more than ones) to give us an update, leaving me with missing scenes of "The Guardian," as they kept rolling the tape!
Thank goodness for Ginne's summary....Thank you Ginne...
The good news is that Nick was fabulous in last night's ep. and looking beautiful as ever!
The case with the girl was terrific, and he also was very sensitive to the fact that the son of the department store owner was about to loose his job.
No matter what every one says; I was really feeling sorry for Alvin. Yes, he was a klutz by going out on his own and trying to save the girl (while taking pictures along the way of the customers ) but it was real emotion, and he was sincere. By meeting Roger on the street, and taking a picture of him with one of the girls (no less) didn't help him much either, and after refusing to turn the picture over to Roger it did him in... since Roger is on the LSP Board.
Miss Lulu came to the rescue and decided that she would accept Alvin's position as Director of LSP, after Alvin was removed by the Board - no kidding!
Never mind she did not want to stay on at LSP for Nick, (the one she loves...but can not say it) nor even postponing her move to California to help out in the chaos after James' dead. No, no, she had to go....because Alvin was at fault that she was leaving in the first place!
She had her little goodbye in the restaurant with Nick and says she'll miss him. He was....(the :thud: smiley doesn't work)
I still think she's selfish, and doesn't show much concern for anyone but her own - only when it serves her right she can be nice -- and it showed, when she asked Nick if he could handle the fact that she's now going to be his boss...no kidding here!...
Nick and Burton has been stressful lately. This time Burton being a pain in the a*** by constantly telling Nick to pick-up his stuff at the house, because he needs the room for Shannon! How cruel can you be to your own son - I ask. No wonder Nick didn't want anything to do with the whole thing. Also, I find Burton more and more dictating Nick what to do - and how to do it. He tels him to get his own clients in and hackles about a 50/50% of clients that he brought in seven years ago, but Nick maintained. As I remember right it was in "The Dark" episode that Nick asked his Father to come with him as "Fallin & Fallin," after Burton gave up his Judge ship. Nevertheless; they are just wonderful together.
But please give the boy a break, DH, and bring in another love interest for Nick, while Lulu is sitting on the back burner for just a litle bitsy longer - playing the Boss! ;D
