Office’s life! What a hell sometimes! TG hasn’t explored Fallin & Fallin office’s life often and last night’s story brought a new light on the not-so-cordial relationships between associates and partners. And on Burton’s amazing foolishness in the woman department. My God! What was he thinking?
Young Drew’s situation was compelling and Alvin knew exactly what to do with a suicidal person : listen. Nick almost failed this child last night, but had enough good sense to entrust him to a more competent lawyer. I was happy to see again this supervisor we met in a previous episode (The next life). When I see a person like him, even if it’s only on TV, I feel society has still something to offer to these kids.
Now Jake. He obviously wants revenge. He may be mixed up about his private life, but on the professional front, he wants to prove he is at least as good as the boss’s son, even better. I must admit though that Nick’s comment, in front of the judge, comparing his client’s husband to a tree, was a little harsh to say the least….
We didn’t get to see a lot of Nick and Lulu. But those moments were extremely well done and moving. I guess the couple counsellor will have to work on two major sore subjects : the rejection of the marriage proposal and the cheating…
I don’t know why I was so touched by Nick’s confession : "It seems... I see myself differently than others do " but I really was. Maybe because of the way Nick said it, maybe because it was a real intimate thought expressed by a very shut up person? Anyway, it rang true and I consider the therapy has already begun…<br>
Discovering the sex of your baby, said Nick, is like opening your gifts before Christmas Eve (echoing my own feeling on the same subject). But the pure joy he expressed about his baby girl was worth A FOURTH SEASON!!!!! We need these smiles another year, please! Simon Baker is so much better than Prozac to make us feel good!!!!!
Because Nick was so sweet about this and about Lulu, it made me forgive him his questionable attitude with Sandra. But since we never witnessed anything beside the condescension he showed last night, who are we to judge? So good riddance, Sandra, and could you please bring with you the never-disappearing Shannon?
Ambition could have been last night title, but it could also has been It’s a girl!
