Any thoughts after 4/27 as to what direction this show could be heading? If it is picked up, they left the door open to go in several directions. Burton's health problems could come back, Jake could be running the firm and be outed at which point a move to bring the Fallin's back could be made, Alvin will pass away by November sweeps, Nick could take Lulu's job due to complications with her pregnancy in which case he may not want to go back to the big firm........lots of options as always.
Thoughts?

Hi go6, and welcome:
Those are all very interesting speculations and questions, however, I'm still digesting last night's ep and can't begin to think about events very far in the future for N and co..
--- How the man deals with all his current stresses is the immediate question for me. ----And I certainly hope Burton's weakened heart can stand the pressure, too, because he's N's strongest and craftiest ally. In fact, I expect Jake has made two very dangerous enemies in Nick and Burton.
Time will tell and I'm thinking that CBS ( TG had a Nielsen rating of 37 last week!) will certainly renew the show and provide the time for the story to play out.---cloud9

Is there any reason to think the show won't be picked up? It's a great show.

Hi tarac: Yep, unfortunately on other sites there has been speculation about the show being cancelled. AlsoThere's an interview posted somewhere (can't remember just where right now. I'll try to find it and give you a link later) from the show's writer or someone in charge that talked around the topic of a cancellation. Such a move, IMHO, would be the height of folly for CBS. TG is so refreshing and well done and it's characters are so well-defined, etc., etc., etc.----But then my favorite (i.e. "Red Cap" on BBCA and "LaFemmeNikita" on USA) shows get dumped way too soon.---cloud9

To everyone who is wondering if TG will be renewed: visit the Yahoo! Simon Baker Board and go to the Renew the Guardian site. You'll fnd guidelines for writing to CBS and pertinent addresses. Let those knuckleheads at CBS know you love the show. Don't let TG go down without a fight!

Thanks for the link cloud9. I'll be real disappointed if the show is cancelled. There are not many shows like the Guardian on the air. I've been pleased with CBS giving us shows like The Guardian and Judging Amy. I liked Family Law and they shut that one down too.
TG is a great show but I must admit I stumbled upon it one night. I didn't watch it from the very beginning and I just became hooked. Maybe they should promote it more or something. I don't know but I just don't want to see the show die. I'll go to that group and sign the petition or write or whatever I need to do.

It seems today that these questions will remain unanswered. How will we go through next year' s Tuesday nights?
