THE GUARDIAN (CBS) - The Eye has given a two-year extension to its overall deal with producer Mark Johnson and his Gran Via banner. Johnson currently serves as an executive producer on "The Guardian," which wraps its third season this week on CBS. In addition, Johnson (who was also behind the short-lived Eye dramas L.A. Doctors" and "Falcone") has hired Bryan Seabury to serve as vice president of Gran Via, where he'll handle all development for the company. Beyond television, Gran Via is also behind several recent and upcoming features, including "The Wendell Baker Story," "The Chronicles of Narnia," "The Alamo" and "The Notebook."
