:eye: Wonder if maybe someone could explain how to put your own favorite picture in the avatar ? I've tried and tried, but somehow don't know what to do......:computer: Honestly, I loved the one sportscar picture of Hales'.....hum, wonder what happened.

Well, firstly, you gots to have your picture hosted somewhere on the net (i.e. get the URL of your avatar). If not, you need to upload your picture. Most free sites like geocities etc. won't allow remote linking, so try one of these... www.boomspeed.comwww.netfirms.comwww.imagemagician.comYou can only use .gif or .jpg images in your avatar. Now that you have the URL of your avatar (it should be something along the lines of "http://www.yourhost.com/images/01.gif" or "http://www.boomspeed.com/bakergirl/01.jpg") ... you need to go to your board profile (by using the profile link at the top of the page, or by clicking on your username and then clicking "modify"). About half way down the page, place a tick in the box next to "I have my own pic" and then enter your avatar URL. You avatar will be automatically resized if it's too large, or you can specify your own height & width. That's bout it. Lemme know if there are any problems. :biggrin: |
