Could someone please tell me why I am getting an ad (findwho.com) every time I move from page to page?
No matter which section I am in it seems that I have to close out the ad page between I am able to read the page I have requested.
Does anyone else have that problem?

Unfortunately, it isn't a "problem" ... it's normal. This board is ad-supported (by pop ups & banner ads) ... since it's hosted for free by Proboards. Everyone gets the pop up ads and pop up stopper programs won't work anymore. ...and I don't have the $7 a month to pay for ad-free.

Just a little word of advice ... you don't have to close the ad every single time. If you leave it running in the background, it won't bug you anymore, and no more pop up ads will appear (I think).

I use CrazyBrowser which has a popup stopper which works fine on this site. Unfortunately instead you get a message that notes that you have a popup stopper installed and asks you to turn it off. This comes up every page as well, but as least you can close it by going <enter>. www.crazybrowser.com

Yes quilter, I have the same problem but like mb20 suggested, I just let it sit there until I log-off. :paw:

Glad to know I am not the only one - thank you for your suggestions.
Now that I know it is "normal", I will handle.
To everyone, have a good holiday season
Here we are hoping for snow - what a crazy winter
