Can someone please help me how to do that "quoting" thing that everyone does when one wants to snip just a paragraph from one's post? Thanks so much.

Hi Gloria Welcome to the board. There is a quote link at the top left of each post. Using that quotes the whole post into your textbox, though ... so you would need to snip off the irrelevant bits. (this method automatically adds the date, time & author of the original post) The other way is to click on the Insert Quote button, which is one of the buttons just above the single line of yellow smileys on the posting page. The quote tags will appear in the text box. Then just copy the relevant paragraph from elsewhere on the page, and paste it within the quote tags. That's it.

It worked fine, you just seem to have deleted the 2nd quote tag, which is ... [/quote] [/b] Make sure that all the text you want quoted appears between the two tags.
