Picture disappears from profile - what gives?

Can anyone help?

I've included a picture of N&LL twice now, on my profile -- it stays up for a brief period of time, but inevitably it disappears and I'm left with a little white box w/ a red x in it.

I notice that doesn't happen with some people who have pics on their profiles - so I wonder what, if anything - I may be doing wrong.

Seems to me if it's up, it should stay up -- unless the url/address gets changed...but how would that happen?

Any suggestions/help to correct this problem would be appreciated.

Well, for one thing, I can't view the picture in my browser with this URL. I'm getting a 403 forbidden error.

Also, geocities & yahoo are sometimes problematic when it comes to remote linking to pictures on their (free) sites.


Try using this URL in your profile instead. Same picture, uploaded to a different server. It should work now.
