Yes! And it was adorable how excited he was when he told Laurie he wanted to be Lesley's foster parent! ;D
His whole interaction with Lesley . . .  What about the look they exchanged as they were wheeling her out to surgery--adorable!

Absolutely  but it was heartbreaking in a  sort of way at the end when he was crying on Laurie's shoulder....
 *innocently*

By the way, I tried to send you an instant message on here earlier--but it wouldn't go through. There were a couple of us in Iconic's chat room and I wanted to invite you to join us Yes, it got very heartrending watching him sob after all his enthusiasm over being her foster parent. Even my mum was crying . All in all, very  worthy!

Hey ...
I just thought I'd drop in and make a post or two. I'm on my brother's computer. If I'm not around for a while ... it's cos I'm computerless :crying: My sound is all messed up ... the correct drivers are almost impossible to find online (some technical crap).. and my CD-Rom is acting crappy, so my brother's friend, who works at the computer store we got the computer at ... is going to take it back and get it sorted out ... cos it has a 2 year guarantee
So ... yeah. *sniff*

I only watched like 2 mins though I also saw Colin (drug dealer) as a balloon delivery man ... on an old episode of Chicago Hope  So Gin ... what's the assignment progress like ? :nerd:

Hallo GillyBear & Hales! The assignments are progressing. I got the one finished that was due today, showed up for class, as did the other two students in the class, and the professor didn't show up ! So all that work (which would have had to be done anyway), and a 25 mile drive, only to have the professor not show up and not notify us that she wouldn't be there! Anyway, on to the next project--reviews of four articles due Saturday, and I need to write a 10 page term paper for that instructor . How is your break going, GillyBear? What interesting things are going on with you Hales?

*thud* You have to finish those assignments on Saturday??? Eek! Good Luck! Not much is going on, although I went for another driving lesson today and did ten times better than I did last week!!! and tomorrow I'm going to watch 'Queen of the Damned' with friends!!! ;D How about you?

The 10 page paper isn't due Saturday--but the reviews are! ;D Are you taking driving lessons from a friend or formal lessons? I must say--we get to get our licenses far too early over here --the thought of some of my students driving frightens me !! I bet you're doing a great job--just remember to relax and pay attention! Tomorrow I'm driving my mum to a conference about 60 miles away. The conference lasts all weekend, but this way she won't have to pay to park her car. The best bit is that the conference is in the same city as my favourite shopping center , so after I drop her off--SHOPPING!

LOL - so you're shopping like all weekend or just one day? Good Luck on the reviews! Actually we can get our 'learner's permit' when we reach 16, but its up to us when we take the driving test, I didn't feel confident in my ability to drive until now (I got my learner's when I was 21 but didn't bother with lessons until after I turned 22) I've had lessons since early July last year...

Here you can only get your drivers licence when you're 18 ... Those poles and parking can be a pain in the :moon: I only drive an automatic though ... I'm wondering whether I should get my manual licence this year  ... have a fun weekend

I didn't do much shopping at all--I didn't even buy anything . I was looking for this one sweater I had seen somewhere else, but they didn't have it :crying:. When I got my license 16 years ago (boy, does that make me feel old ), we got our learners permit when we turned 16, and then we had to wait 1 month to get our license. Things have changed now (thank goodness!). You still get your permit when you turn 16, but you have to wait 6 months to get your license (which is how long I waited anyway, because like you, Hales, I didn't feel ready). Once we get our license, we can drive either an automatic or a manual (provided we know how to shift the gears ;D!). I learned in my dad's truck, which was manual, took my test in my mum's care (an automatic). When I bought my first car (at 20), it was a manual because that was what I could get the best deal on. Now I drive an automatic. The only person in my family who can't drive a manual is my mum, and that's because she had her left foot amputated a year and a half ago because of diabetes--before that she could! ;D

I was allowed to choose between manual and automatic, but I decided manual because every car that we have at my place is manual... I hope I can pass the test. to Gillybear  I hope you guys are okay... I'm cheerful  Don't ask its only 8.55am for me right now!

Are you one of those strange morning people, Hales? :nerd: I'm with you on one point, though--GillyBear  I'm doing wonderful, myself! I've finished two of my four reviews due tomorrow :clapping:--let's only hope I don't get in trouble for them (I've been just a wee bit opinionated, hard-headed, and maybe even a smidgen rude in one of them ). By the way--there is a short interview with Simon on Court TV tonight. I don't know if either of you gets that network, so I'll tape it and try to transcribe it for you. Just take it easy on those gears, Hales!
