Privilege picks up where Causality left off. After the recap, the scene opens as if through someone's eyes who is laying down on a couch. You see Burton in an apron (yes, a chef's apron!!) at the stove. He pours a glass of juice, and carries it over towards the camera.
We see it is Nick, who Burton apparently brought home with him after the brawl to sleep it off on the sofa. Burton hands him the juice and they chat a little.
Burton says, "I think you'd better come back to the firm." Nick says, "Okay." (notice--no argument!)
Burton then asks Nick if he wants him to call McGee (or is it Kirk) and let him know. Nick says no, he needs to take care of it.
Burton then brings Nick a plate of something (pancakes maybe?), and says, "Eat up son. We'll be late for a funeral."

First of all I'm not planning on nabbing him... I'll  yes, but not nab him  Second, currently I'm not supposed to be online right now but I'm sneaking in occaisonally so if I disappear don't worry I'm just playing safe. Third - Regarding Privilege and Burton giving his son a drink and food... aww. and *wah* because I'll miss it! *sniff* and then...

You wouldn't nab Nick if given the chance? Why aren't you supposed to be online? Yes, it was very touching--Burton was very fatherly to Nick. Not demonstrative, but hey--we can wait!

Anyway, next thing we see, Burton and Nick (in uniform, of course) are going into a funeral home. There they meet Frank Newburg, his wife Dawn, and their youngest daughter, Wendy. The funeral is for the Newburg's oldes daughter (I can't remember her name, so we'll call her Sis), who drowned while on vacation with her husband.
Frank Newburg's brewery is a long-time client of F&A, and he and Burton are old friends.

They first run into fifteen year-old Wendy Newburg. Burton expresses his condolences, and introduces Nick. Wendy chats with Nick for a moment, looking him over rather lecherously (she's only 15 for goodness sake!), he says he's sorry for her loss, and joins back up with Burton, who introduces him to the parents.
They accept Burton & Nick's condolences, and then Frank says that they would like to talk to the Fallins in private, looking over at Sis' widower, Ray Harper, with intense dislike.
Just as Burton and Nick start to follow the Newburgs into another room for their chat, Nick's cell phone rings (great timing, aye). Burton, looking aghast, says, "You're not going to answer that thing, are you?"
Nick says he'll be just a minute, answers it, and asks James, who is returning his call, if he (James) can cover for him (Nick) in court this morning, as something has come up. As they walk through the door after the Newburgs, Burton lightly chastises Nick for his timing. Nick replies, "I can't exactly phone these cases in." (Good for Nick! He realizes the importance of the Legal Services cases!!!)

Back to the story.
The Newburgs want F&A to handle a case for them against Ray Harper, Sis' husband. They claim that Ray killed Sis to get her trust fund, 6.5 million dollars ().
They want F&A to make sure Ray doesn't get the money.
After their little chat, Nick excuses himself to use the WC. He goes to the restroom, opens the door, and finds Wendy (fully clothed, put your eyes back in your head!!!), sitting on the seat, cutting her arm with a razor blade.
Nick is shocked, to say the least. She gets all snotty with him and tells him it's how she deals with the boredom of everything, and how she expects him not to tell anyone.
