Naughty GillyBear, naughty!! There's this old blues song you'd probably like--"Hard-Hearted Hannah"! Poor Nick! First beat up by drunken thugs, then further abused by the Sadistic Brat!

Why are you picking on Nick, GB? *sniff*
I'd definitely give the boy a hug... if he wanted one
 hello!

So what do you think, Hales? Should we let GB in on our next storytelling session if she continues to be naughty?

Is 'Privilege' the last we see of Amanda? and if so didn't she have an argument with Burton and said that he was favouring his son ... which is like ... never tell that to you're boss!
What did happen there? *hopeful*

Yes, I believe that is Amanda's last ep. And yes, she does burn all her bridges!

I take it that Burton was not a happy camper when being told he favoured Nick right? Also wondered if you personally agree with that... does Burton favour Nick? (I haven't seen any favouritism in the episodes I've seen... just Burton giving Nick a hard time )

Burton was NOT happy!
I have noticed he favors Nick a little--and the nagging I think is because he holds Nick to a slightly higher standard. And in this ep he definitely does favor him to a certain extent--he lets Nick come back to F&A, no questions asked, right back to his old job.

Didn't his reason have something to do with Nick needing 'Structure' in his life and the only way to get that is if he is being watched by his 'old man' - hee!

LOL ... that's cute
Yeah, if I was one of the other associates at F&A ... I would be majorly pissed off, about Nick coming back, no questions asked.
But then again .. if I was a female working at F&A .. I would be :clapping:
I wonder if Nick know's how cute he is .. damnit !!

Yes. Hollander said it's about a son needing his father, and next season, we see the father needing his son.

That sounds rather freaky... that Burton will be needing his son...
I wonder how long Burton will be working at F&A...
