Mum just beeped me on the cell phone. I suggested she take Nan along with her when she goes out, but she said no . She said there are too many other dogs and there would be too many fights. You know, she just has no sense of adventure

I wonder if there'll be any left for Hales Gin, did you watch The Affair Of The Necklace ? Did it get released near you ? I checked a DVD site a while back, and it was getting released on DVD here, in June .. and I checked back a few times recently ... and it's been taken off the site :crying: I emailed them .. and they said it's not on their supplier's list anymore .. but if it appears there, they will order it :crying:

I like the name Nathaniel James Don't worry if there isn't any easter eggs, I mean my older brother ate a whole block of chocolate that was supposed to be mine, but because I left it untouched he felt the need to gobble it up... pig!

Sorry about the chocolate, Hales! It’s times like these that make me glad I’m an only child! (presents Hales with a giant virtual opera cream Easter egg) Nathaniel James is a cute name, isn’t it? But we won’t tell Chase’s dad or grandparents --they would not be happy at all. See, Chase’s mum and dad aren’t married, and his mum practically tried to abandon him at birth (she claimed to have “found” him on a porch swing), but my cousin, who wasn’t even aware she was pregnant until the day before Chase was born (their relationship broke up 8 ½ months before), stepped forward, told the authorities she was the mother and that he thought he was the father. Consequently, a big custody battle ensued, Chase was placed in foster care (his foster parents, for lack of anything else to call him, named him Chase Allen), and eventually the mum got custody and my cousin got visitation rights and partial custody. Meanwhile, the mum had registered the birth (finally, as the child was now 2 months old!), calling him Nathaniel James. The judge in the case officially named the baby Nathaniel Chase, as my cousin wanted to call him by the name the foster parents had given him. Now his mum and her family call him Nathaniel, and our whole family calls him Chase . The whole thing has been like our own personal soap opera! Have I totally :boring: yet? Sorry about that !

(Handing out another giant virtual opera cream Easter egg) Here you go ;D Opera cream is a a local specialty here--I can't really describe it, except as maybe a sort of fondant filling . Anyway, it's divine! Sorry to get carried away with the soap! Just another one of those family things! What's going on? I finally got my ! I only had to wait 8 hours .

Hales! Well, I was getting ready to open one when Mum came home this afternoon and announced she wanted me to go campaigning with her It wasn't too bad, though. Unfortunately, she's got plans for me to go with her next week since I'm not teaching . If she didn't need me to get her wheelchair out of the car, I would defintely find a way to hide!

I don't know if either of you has been to the SimonBakerOnline group since I posted this, but I've found this nifty little application called Web Washer. It's free for non-commercial use, and it cleans out a lot of the advertising and bad cookies and the like. You can find it at webwasher.com. :nerd:
