Yes, Jenn....but he wasnt shot in his head...And I imagine DH has to have more resources than having another guy of LSP in a coma to help develop another plots. He can have a serious lung injury, plus broken ribs...that would keep him away from job for a while.... And I´m for slow dancing, too. Or he can take LuLu dancing and even if the music is (how do you call music you usually dance separate?) he holds her because he is shy and prefers to dance like that...I love that. I think there´s nothing more sexy than that: people frentically shaking their bodies and a couple dancing tight, right in the middle of the place, listening to their own music and following their rhythm.... I can imagine Nick doing that: without his jacket, his white shirt sleeves folded (?), the tie loosened... (they went dancing after work, it´s not a real date) I have to work. I have to stop thinking about him.... Nick slow dancing......yikes! Just thinking about that renders me senseless. I can imagine them slow dancing iin a crowd of regular fast dancers.....not noticing, not caring. When they are together, everything else disappears. Of course, the good thing about slow dancing is it isn't condusive (sp?) to talking, which neither of them does very well lately.

Yes, life should be so simple! Too bad they both eventually have to use their words.....
One bad thing about slow dancing, though. It doesn't work up a sweat!
I'm trying to think up other possible Nick activities for season three that involve sweat......(because I'm a sick individual, I guess)
1. Nick goes for a jog with.....I don't know who. Who cares! He'll be all sweaty in any case...
2. Nick has lots more sex with.....who cares! As above, he'll be all sweaty....
That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll come up with more later......

First things first : thanks Jennifer for this very rich thread. Now, if you like your Nick sweaty, maybe he could have to do some very physical sports, racquet ball or tennis, as part of his ongoing anger therapy (he needs it and the scenes with the therapist were unforgettable. I'm completely beside myself imagining Nick slow dancing amidst a crowd fast dancing, oblivious of everything else because he has his sweetheart in his arms. But I bet that won't be an opening scene... Burton will fall in love (I'm working on it) and Jake...will have a run down with his childhood friend Clay. I'm afraid 3rd season will be the last, because big screen will claim our dear SB...

You know, I'm afraid you're right about season three. It could be the last , not because TG is burning itself out but because it hinges on talented people who will want to move on. I'm thinking of DH and SB here in particular, although so many of the other characters are great too and will have other projects in the wings.
I think of TG as ground breaking. Its characters have so many layers, and the show carefully strips those layers away, slowly working toward the core. And I don't just mean Nick....all of the characters, even those with little screen time, are complex. Incredible for American TV.
So, on a lighter note, I say DH -- find lots of sweaty activities for Nick! We may not have much longer to enjoy the sight of him bathed in sweat!!!
I know: How about Nick working out with a punching bag? yes....I can see it now.....

I know: How about Nick working out with a punching bag? yes....I can see it now..... Totatotalfan you are right!!.... he has to do that, I think it`s a sport which DH likes cause he put it in a couple of episodes and it`s great to relieve a lot of anger...Nick especiality.... maybe he can imagine the bag is his father, when Burton does that stupid things like embarass him in from of other people, and well destroy the punching bag insted of give him a good punch(which I think he deserves sometimes) Nick dancing.. yes i want to see that! One thing: Nick having that bad temper he has... don`t you think he is very very patient with his old man.... I mean after all the things that he should feel about his dad sending him away in childhood, lonely adolescence and how he treats him when he is an adult(or seems to be).... ;D I think he is a with him!

Hey, girls....I think Nick would sweat a lot, and I mean a lot , if he sees some cops stopping at his ofice at f&f in order to ask him about the beating........Hi, Bamagirl!....you must be right with the money, but this Clay looks like a very competitive guy and I´m pretty sure he knows wihich is the coolest car to have... and Nick is gonna have to work hard to defeat him...I mean: he is not gonna be anymore the only GQ guy at f&f.....they could do and play racket and sweat to death! .....any of them would give up!

well, let's see.... jogging, of course sex -- yes! lifting weights? a definite possiblity Total, we are talking no-Tshirts here, arent we?.....I cant imagine Nick Fallin with a sleeveless T-shirt.......... I mean, he is way to classy for that..... doing home-work?....painting the ceiling, screwing (things...:biglaugh:.....I mean).....shelves, fixing something, helping Lulu with the zillion things she needs help for now that Brian is not around anymore ... He´d sweat for the work and because we´d probably be very moody, wondering why she didnt call a professional....

Cecilia, as always you crack me up! Do you think Nick actually knows how to do handy-man type things? When would he have learned it, and from who (whom...I get that mixed up)? I doubt Burton had the time to teach him.....
But I would surely enjoy the site of Nick puttering around, contentedly fixing things for LuLu-- briefly, that is. The moment we see that, unfortunately, I think we would all agree tht TG was near the end. Our Nick can't be content...if he is, what's the point?

Okay, Nick and sports: Since we know Nick likes to play chess--he can't keep that fantastic chess set on his coffee table just to look at--I can see him fencing (epee or foil, no slashing axe-like sabers, please!), which is like playing chess with your whole body. You work up a sweat, too. The drawback is you get bruises in places you can't mention in mixed company. When he's wearing fencing knickers and a fencing jacket with a tapered waist and takes the mask off in one sweeping gesture to salute an opponent he just defeated every female heart in the room will beat so fast the electronic scoring gear will short out. I also see him doing ballroom dancing--you can work up a sweat at that, too. I can see him in competitions, doing hot latin numbers in a black silk shirt open to the waist, and I also see him doing the smooth numbers in white tie and tails. Only problem is, whoever was lucky enough to be his partner would have to be a very self-disciplined individual--you don't win medals in competitions for swooning in your partner's arms.

Hi, Lambertoise....good to be back (.... ...I guess I never left.....)...anyway....that scene(Nick in his shite shirt, his hair mussed, his head bowed over Lulu´s shoulder, hardly moving his feet, just hugging each other....:thud:) had me thirsty the whole day........... I hope not. I used to watch Chicago Hope and ER...there were many good actors there and those shows lasted (?) many, many years....

Yes, Lambertoise, good to see you back. Is this in the episode, Shelter? That was a great scene, but nothing can top "what it means to you", IMO. I also love the scene in Sensitive Jackals when they were in bed together and of course, let's not forget when we saw Nick in an apron. Now, I'm drooling with Cecilia.
