It’s raining, and Claire gets pulled over for speeding. It’s Scott Davenport, and he acts as if he doesn’t know her.

F&F, next morning
Claire goes in to see Burton. She tells him that Scott Davenport pulled her over the night before and gave her a speeding ticket. He asks if she was speeding. She says no, and that Scott acted like he didn’t know her. When Burton asks if she knows why Scott would do that, she says she thinks he’s angry about the church. Burton tells her he’ll look into it.

Courthouse
Laurie, Shannon, and Burton come out of the courtroom. Burton asks if he can take Shannon home now. Laurie says she’ll bring her over this evening.
As they part, Nick comes up to talk to Burton. He mentions (a bit coolly) that he didn’t know Burton wanted to be a foster parent. Burton asks if Nick’s okay with it. Nick, still overly serious, says “I always wanted a sister.”<br>
Neither acts really thrilled or comfortable at their little conversation.

is Pittsburgh smaller than 25 de mayo?....I used to think it was the smallest town in the world....TG makes me wonder about it and how wrong I was....or...is Scott Davenport the only policeman in Pitts (besides Kim, but they can´t have her here, now.....)?....

F&F, Burton’s office
Burton is talking with Scott Davenport, questioning him about the ticket. Scott hesitates a moment, and then confesses to Burton that he’s fallen in love with Claire. He explains that he thought she wanted him to kiss her . . . Burton, seeing the whole picture now, tells Scott that Claire isn’t on the case anymore. He calls Gretchen on the intercom and asks her to send Jake in. He introduces Jake, and Jake takes Scott off to his office to discuss the case.

cecilia maybe he was folowing her..... probable because she said she wasn`t speeding and he gave her the ticket as he didn`t know her...

Pittsburgh is a fairly large city. I don't know the actual size. They would definitely have hundreds of policemen, if not over a thousand.

Burton’s house
Burton and Shannon are sitting at the table having dinner. Shannon is just picking at her food. Burton tries to make conversation. He tells her that Gretchen will take her shopping to get a new dress and shoes. He also asks if she has anything special she wants to do for her grandmother’s service. She says no and asks to be excused.

Lulu’s house
Lulu leads Nick by the hand into the dimly lit bedroom, chatting all the while. Leaving Nick standing at the door, Lulu walks over to a stereo and puts on some soft music. Nick stays at the door. He asks “Is this the bed you and Brian shared?” Lulu says yes, it is. Nick stays at the door. She asks what the problem is, why it is that they can have sex in a bathroom, but when they’re in her own home . . . Nick sort of cuts her off, says he’s pretty tired and he’d better go. He kisses her on the lips and leaves.

Radio Station
Alvin has finally got the host of the talk show to let him talk about the situation with the church from the church’s point of view. However, the host turns some of his comments around, making the church sound like they’re looking for the highest offer they can get.

The cop is in love with Claire? My god..... they know each other for what two episodes while Nick and Lulu are together more than a year and they don`t even think of say the word LOVE....

Burton and Jake enter. Burton introduces Jake to the jury consultant. They are there to go over things again with Scott. Gretchen comes in to let Burton know she has Scott Davenport on the line . . .

Keep up the good work Gin. I'd love to stick around, however, my alarm clock is calling my name. 5 1/2 hours of sleep should make me a real slug tomorrow at work. I look forward to reading the rest of your posts and everyone's comments. :boring::boring::boring::boring:
