Church roof
Scott is up there drinking. Burton comes up to talk to him. Scott says he came up there to think. He confides to Burton that he used to drink a lot when he was in junior college. He says it’s the first time he’s ever been up on the roof, but he needed to think. Burton tells Scott that he understands, that it’s clear that Scott has been upset ever since he said that he shot Colin in self defense. Scott agrees. Burton tells him that he has to straighten out the knots inside himself and tell what he feels to be the truth. Burton says he feels like he pushed Scott the wrong way.

F&F
We see Burton, Jake, Colin, and his attorney in the conference room. Claire is in the lobby watching. Nick comes into the foyer, asks her what she’s doing. She says she’s watching his father make Colin a rich man. She tells Nick that Burton had to go talk to Scott on the church roof.
The others come out of the conference room. Colin comes over to Nick, thanks him, and says he means what he’s said, that he’s turned over a new leaf.
In his office, Burton tells Scott Davenport how things finished.

Claire’s office cubicle
Burton comes over to talk to Claire. He tells Claire that the next time something like this happens, if she’s here or wherever she is, she should go to the partners and tell them everything. Claire asks if this means she doesn’t get the job, as she’s done everything he’s asked of her. Burton says she has it.

James tells Nick that he found Colin a place, but Colin hasn’t returned his calls. Nick tells him he won’t.
As Nick starts to enter his office, Lulu comes over and asks Nick not to pull the offer. Nick says he already did three hours ago.

In his office, Nick walks over to LuLu with a gleam in his eye. LuLu says she knows that look, and they’re not going to do that now. LuLu tells Nick that “You have some intimacy issues you need to work out.”<br> Nick, eyebrows raised: You don’t want to do this anymore? LuLu, turning with hand on the door: Well, if you’re not comfortable in a bedroom. Nick, grinning sexily, comes around behind her, pushes the door shut. As he starts to embrace her from behind, he whispers in her ear “I don’t have intimacy issues.” As he starts to nuzzle her neck, LuLu locks the door.  :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: |

Burton’s house
Burton and Shannon arrive home that evening. As they come in, Shannon tells Burton that she has a dad and that he shouldn’t think of himself in that role as her dad will want to get custody of her. (Burton already knew about the father as Laurie told him). Burton just offers her some words of comfort (I couldn’t really hear what he said), and Shannon heads upstairs.

He might have seen the bit in the lobby at the end, jevees, but he didn't see the early bit. I didn't notice if he observed Nick talking to Colin or not.
