(I guess I should post this somewhere else, but I couldn’t find the right place. Sorry.)
I would like to say something in Rosiiii´s behalf. I know mb20 is trying to avoid this site to become another SBOL (and I appreciate how she keeps it educated or polite). What annoys me is that some guests or new members (or maybe it’s only one, I don’t know for sure) provoked Rosiiii´s anger by spoiling Sarah’s fanfic, mocking her posts and being very rude to Sarah (knowing, indeed, that Rosiiii would react and over-react), just because Rosiiii´s name was on top of the thread (I’m not figuring out that. Later, they wrote down milder posts regarding the fanfic). I don’t justify calling names or insulting (sometimes I have the benefit of not understanding all the writing) under any circumstances, but looks to me that they succeed on having Rosiiii banned, while they get away cleanly. I guess they won’t even show up here often, now that she is not a member anymore.
It’s a pity things weren’t worked out, not only because Rosiiii´s fanfics were fun and great to read, but because she posted very interesting and deep thoughts (she is an asset in any board when she is not entangled in that …I don’t know which is the word to call it!...posts-war), that, imo, many of the members and guests enjoyed, whether we agreed or not with them. I mean, this is about sharing opinions and points of view, isn’t it? And we are talking fiction on a TV show.
I like this site very much. I enjoy reading and posting ….and I ´d like to believe, since we are all TG fans and mostly grown up people, that things can’t go that far for good and we’ll see Rosiiii coming back.

I second what Cecilia said. I know I don't post much here but I lurk around a lot and I see what happens on this board. Rosii was one of my fav posters on this board and there have been some certain posters that provoked her and where just downright nasty. I am just very suprised the way she was treated and nothing was done about it. I don't want to start anything but that my 2 cents for what's it was worth.

I think that cecilia is right, I also enjoy very much Rosiii`s post, of course she went a little heavy and rude when someone speaks bad of LuLu, but well I think that the issue could have been handle in another way...
I mean the girl obviously like the show and she is a big fan such as ourselfs....(maybe a little to passionate to deffend LuLu but still she can have her own opinion... of course i don`t want this board to become SBOL, cause sometimes I got angry when the fights began because this is supposed to be fun, but I guess we need a little more tolerance.... maybe I`m saying this because she never said nothing hurtfull to me.... and I agree she doesn`t have the best way to say things, but kicking her out was a little excesive)
Besides she writes very good fanfic that I`m sure most of us enjoy a lot...... ;D
I`m sorry i didn`t post this sooner maybe i was a little scare of what you would think, but well....
Cecilia you have the corage I folowed you!

And Jevees, Rosiiii never said anything hurtful to you because she never had a reason to; you never disagreed with her point of view, and/or LuLu's character!! Indeed; we are all suposed to be mature people here, that's why it is so silly that one poster always has to be right! Discussions are healthy......but it can't be one-sided.  Sorry about responding, but it had to be said......if not only for the other posters,... who might see it their way!! |

I undertand your point Gin and I`m not justifing the bad ways that Rosii was using with the other posters(didn`t like them either, cause we all deserve respect), I just wish we have found a better solution .... I also find myself disturbed for the constant fights on the boards..... I really enjoy this board as anyone else, I post here more than in other because people are good, interesting and also very funny.... I guess what I `m trying to say It`s that I`m sorry someone had had to go.....  |

Just like Jeeves, Cecelia, and Godis, I miss Rosiiii too. I felt really bad that she was asked to leave this board. I like reading her posts and fanfics because they were fun and insightful. I specially miss her thoughts on the finale and what will happen for the next season. I hope someday, when the rough tides are all settled down and becomes calm again, everything will be forgiven and she be asked to come back here again. PEACE OUT!!! |

Gin, with all due respect to your example. There are many more of us who appreciated Rosiiii than did not. You can use me for instance. I miss my fanfic!!
I became a member here tonight just to post this, because I agree with cecilia's post, and was surprised to see a few people trying to argue. You say people should be entitled to their opinions, well why can't you let us say how much we miss Rosiiii, and valued her contributions.
I visit this site for her fanfictions, and to follow what went on with the show, but I don't have time enough in my day to post back and forth. I have made an exception tonight to de-lurk and join up because I'm a bit hot. cecilia posted what she did to express her feelings, not to get in a debate with you I'm sure!
The people who don't like Rosiiii are still here, so your comments are not exactly objective, especially bakergirl who as I remember started the whole thing by cutting Rosiii down. There were others who started in on her as well, I know because I was here reading the posts. It seems that regardless of her behavior here or wherever, there are some who are prejudiced against her.
All I know is I logged on to read the charity fic for the tenth time and it was gone. To say I was mad would be an understatement. Those that are trying to validate her being banned, by insulting her all over again tonight, might want to think about creating something equally interesting to read to make me want to come back here after this, because right now I see no reason to at all.

I was not trying to argue with Cecilia, merely share another view. As one of the original handful of members of this site and a frequent target of Rosiiii's hostility, on this board and others, I personally am glad to see her go. However, I do not make a habit of trying to force my opinions on others, and therefore try to keep those to myself. There are occasions, however, when I feel compelled to interject in controversial topics and threads. For the most part, you will find I steer clear of them. I want the board to be what it was before--before the mess, before Rosiii--a friendly place where people can meet and converse.

Well I've never read any posts from her on this board where she targeted and was hostile towards you or anyone else. I have read many recent posts from people who were hostile towards Rosiiii. I believe some have let their own personal issues with Rosiii interfere with the rest of us and what's good for this board.
I want to edit this to say, I don't wish to argue any further. I know there are some here who have a problem with these kinds of pro-Rosiii posts - but the reality is she will be missed. You can't wipe that away by posting how much you disliked her. Feel free to carry on without me, but I refuse to debate.
It just seems to me your doing the exact thing which you accused Rosiiii of, and that which you claim makes this board not such a nice place. The people posting don't necessarily want to feel they have to justify why they liked her, her posts and her fanfictions to you. Are you trying to convince them not to feel how they feel? Just let it go. As I am doing right now. I am back to lurking, hoping that someone will step in and offer some equally good fanfic now that Rosiii isn't here anymore.
