Thanks Gin, and Rosiiii, for your run down on this episode.
It is really hard to understand why Louisa went through with the marriage if you already knew about the Hooker episode. Why do you think that she did?

We really don't know when she found out - although there is a strong case to be made that she knew before she got hitched. I've only had one run-through -- watching the show when it aired tonight....when I watch my tape, maybe they'll be more clues as to exactly when Lulu found out. Mucho confused. If she knew all along, why that blank look when Nick made the quip about legal dating in The Dead?

If I had to hazard a guess as to why, I'd say it was because she perhaps was willing to try and get over his indiscretion - and found she just couldn't do it.
I don't think she had firm proof he cheated multiple times on her with prostitutes, until she got him to own up to it tonight. She acted as if she suspected strongly that he did though -- maybe she picked up clues that you would only get when living with someone. The arrest had obviously been haunting her - and ruining whatever semblance of affection she had for him, and she just couldn't take it any more.
When he started pawing her, she couldn't hold her disgust in any longer and pretend. Then he tried to say it "was a sickness," and she just about lost it she was so pissed, saying "shut up, you're NOT sick!" He had no answer to her pained and sincere, "Brian what is it? What are you looking for? What are you looking for out there?" Except asking "Do you want me to leave," which after deliberating for a long pause, she turned away from him, looked up thinking - frowning, then shook her head and said no.
Camera panned out with him laying in bed, looking like the sad dog he is, while Lulu was sitting up on the side of the bed, turned away from him.
For some reason, I think Brian is going to meet a violent/tragic end - perhaps suicide, homicide, or some type of accident. Just a vibe I get upon re-watching their scenes, it seems DH is setting it up for that.

Lulu, like Wendy, is a great actress too? That's the only way that scene makes sense, because if DH wants us to believe that Lulu knew along, we have to assume she just played dumb. To me, it really looked like she had no clue at the time, and they (Brian & Nick) seemed comfortable in their erroneous knowledge that she was clueless as to what they were talking about. Men. Heh.
Otherwise, the more cynical TG fans, might think that the sometimes continuity-challenged DH in an effort to tie up his loose ends, played a bit fast and loose with this one. Perhaps in an effort to start his new TG show post 4th ep, he came up with the "Lulu knew all along," tact just this season - recently. Consequently then, the question becomes what new thing happens next? - and it doesn't have to be a re-hashing/re-tread of what went on last season.
Brian can get hit by a bus, and Lulu will have a clear conscience because she did indeed try to work it out with him - I think that's where this is going. Only half-joking.

I don't think Lulu knew all along about the hooker. My feeling is she would never have married Goose if she was aware of the hooker. I honestly think that she found out about it while representing Alvin's friend and did some investigation on her behalf. I guess it will all be explained to us as the season goes. Also now that she is a board member of LSOP, Goose can create a potential problem for her workwise. Afterall, her homelife isn't all that clean. I can't wait for her to confront Nick about it. It is clear that her marriage to the Goose is doomed.

I was a bit disappointed that Nick wasn't somehow involved in the disclosure of this information - hopefully at some point he and Lulu will discuss it. I always assumed she'd be angry at him for not telling her (even if he couldn't because of attorney-client privilege) but maybe in fact she respects him for not telling her, because she knows he wanted to be with her and yet still kept quiet about it. I'd like to think that Lulu didn't know during the Incline scene in The Dead. I think if she had known, she'd have looked embarrassed or uncomfortable, not clueless.

Well she certainly didn't know when she got married. If you recall her telling Nick she got married she says something like:
Lulu: I told Brian. About my slip and he was angry. Nick: He was angry? Lulu: Well, of course ..
Her reaction to his "He was angry?" was kind of clueless. She wouldn't have said 'of course' if she knew about the hooker and also knew that Nick knew.

Wow, great episode! Great summary Gin! *hugs* First question: Where was Burton?! I like human Nick, I just wish his father was there to see it most of the time. Because maybe we can get a hug... okay I'm dreaming. Barbara and Jake: Awwww Alvin and Janine: Ummmmm, oh and poor Alvin Lulu and Brian: Bwahahahahaha... okay sorry... *snerk* If Lulu gets mad at Nick for not telling her about Brian *snicker* I will be mad at her, as Nick was only doing the attorney/client privileges thing, which she should understand and respect... Brian... heee... ha ... sorry... its just that Brian is getting what he should have got last season... So we don't actually find out what happened to Bryant?
