Nick drops by Kims apartment to see how her hearing went. (You can hear her son in the background) She grins and tells him that she won, but that now shes going to be working days, which means a desk job with the department. Nick, ever persistent, asks her out to dinner. She grins, looking at him suspiciously and says I know what dinner means to you!, to which he replies, I mean really dinner.
At this she looks him in the eye and asks him point blank Do you still do drugs? Im police officer and I have a child, and I cant be around you if you are. He looks her squarely in the eye and answers No. She agrees to dinner, and he heads back to his car with a definite spring in his step and grinning from ear to ear.

The Jail Ronnie is talking about how he’ll be there until he’s at least 47. He then talks about how he wonders what the kids at school are saying about him. He then agrees to the plea bargain. The scene closes.

Great job as always, Gine ;D I just finished watching it myself about 30 mins. ago. I had terrible reception though. I thought Jake's comment about Nick's community service was funny, and an attempt to light heartedly mimic Burton. I think I like Kim. She is strong and straightforward. I also liked the little teasing about her feet when they were first getting into bed. Nick showed a sence of humor and intimacy in his banter. It just seemed that they hit it off. Also, I believe Miss Lulu had her "interest" peaked (not what I would call jealousy at this point) in the fact that Kim and Nick had a "2-night stand". Lulu at first said "good for you" when Kim told her, then her demeanor changed when she realized it was Nick. Ha, ha, ha. Don't know why I'm laughing. Is there a smiley for crazy??? I have good news, that's probably why. I hope Nick and Kim go on dates so we can see Nick more relaxed (sex doesn't count 'cause we don't get to see much :devilsmoking:) I felt very bad for Lori (but didn't she look good?). All she did was take a short cut in the best interest of the child, which they do all the time in one way or another. Burton's comment to Nick "I brought you one of those $4.00 steamed milk coffees you like so much..." Was cute. It looked like a Starbuck's cup It was nice that Burton new Nick liked them. All done for now. PS. I saw DC on Late Late Show (talk show in US) last night, he was funny.

Well, Annie, Nick and Kim wind up sharing a table with Lulu and Brian at dinner next week. Does that count? It may be the date from hell, but it's a date!
For crazy, I like the nyah smiley :nyah: or the dumb smiley :dumb:

I didn't see that in the preview. Maybe they cut ours short. I saw a preview of Burton's storyline which looks good. I can see where this is the year Burton needs Nick. I'm off now. First day at new job You should be asleep. School tomorrow, right?

Gin, thank you so much, this was wonderful, you seem to be the only one doing real run-downs these days, not one full run-down on SBOL and us poor Aussies love to read all of them.

Blame it on the long wait between seasons... :devilangry: evil Channel 10 , which is like a five month break or something.... I'm all for Burton needing Nick... why don't they just hug already  :nyah: I like this smiley! ;D

Got a really dumb question to ask regarding that one scene with Burton... did Nick and Burton smile once or twice in that episode? *curiously*
