Hospital Burton, Liz, and Shannon are sitting in a waiting room. Burton and Liz are discussing what happened. Liz reveals that this is not the first time that Jeremy has pulled something like this, but he always says it’s a joke. Burton tells her quietly that she should tell the doctors that it was a suicide attempt, not a prank, and that they’ll order a psych evaluation. The doctor comes and asks to speak with her.

Burton goes over to Shannon to talk. He asks if it was really meant as a joke, and Shannon tells him that Jeremy said it was. She says that she thinks Jeremy likes her and did it to try and impress her (she’s very upset).

Restaurant Nick and Lulu are having dinner and discussing what happened at LSP. Lulu is worried that Alvin will tell everyone and that he’ll use it against her. Nick smiling slightly, tells her not to worry, he doesn’t think Alvin will tell.

Hospital Jeremy is being released. He keeps apologizing, explaining that it was an illusion he got off the internet which didn’t have very good directions. He asks them to all come to dinner again, and says that this time he’ll pay for everything. Liz suggests they invite Nick.

"Use it against her"? I didn't think there was any kind of conflict between Lulu and Alvin.

F&F Nick enters and is immediately latched onto by Jake, who tries to tell him all about the cabin he just bought. Nick tells him that it sounds nice, but declines Jake’s invitation to go there that weekend.

There isn't Spunky. Nick points out that Alvin hasn't any room to talk, having been caught at a massage parlor. He tells Lulu that she didn't give Alvin a hard time then, so why should Alvin give them a hard time. Lulu looks guilty, and doesn't believe him. She's afraid that Alvin will use this against her (probably in the moral turpitude clause).

Gretchen has overheard the conversation however, and makes the comment to Jake that she and her dad used to go fly-fishing there when she was a kid. She and Jake start talking, and Jake invites her to join him. She agrees, which totally shocks Jake, who can’t believe his luck.

Burton’s house It’s breakfast time the next morning. Burton wants to talk about what happened the night before with Jeremy, but Shannon brushes it off. Burton next brings up her report on Gettysburg. Shannon tells him she worked really hard on it. Burton comments on the poor spelling and syntax, to which Shannon replies that her teacher says spelling isn’t important, what’s important is that they express themselves. Burton is not pleased with this, and tells her so.

I can't believe it either.
Pull her out of that school QUICK. Without the spelling and grammer who gives a tinkers cuss what you have to say?

Yes, he looks pretty happy in the restaurant scene. Actually, he looks more amused at Lulu's concern.
